@Jubjub- My current project is my first project I've attempted to a complete series. I'm not an impatient person and I've got a WORLD of free time, so I've decided to take this route (pretty much the same route as ever, just more specific as it's a multidisc project). I rip the DVDs going one vob at a time and makeing an amv useing my FULL song with JUST that one vob. I currently have 3 videos on my hdd and one rendering ;p. Of coarse this is a long way, VERY VERY long way, but I've got 1- 75 gigs+ of space I just cleared up 2- a TON of free time.
OK, that's how I set up, with my passed amvs (one to a movie, one to just the first part of a series) I had considerably less footage to use, but I pretty much did the same thing on a smaller scale. The way I edit, however, is uber lazy and uber forrest gump (simple). I just import the vob into premeire pro and simply line it up with my music and see what fits! Really!! You look at my amvs, their usually very analog and the begining of the song is usually the begining of the movie/ episode. I'm going vob by vob and will pick the ones I like most to hopefully tone down this effect. Though one thing that I'm constantly thinking to myself is 'this is good enough!' cuz, see it gets better and better... and I'm a retard like that lol.
My last video was from probly my favorite anime series (NATHAT) so I had a MUCH better idea of what clips to use anyway...

he does this awesome effect that is like the transparent part continueing but the background showing bits of the future... dunno how to explain it, but it looks muy coolio! Moonie (also in BSP so it seems...) also did this, but like a whole lot less complicated useing consecutive fades... well anyway I'm watching this hopeing his editing style will attric... er assimulate my brain ;p ooh! pretty colors! - 2005-10-24 04:40:30 Ooook I'm not releaseing that for awhile -lol-.... aah well ;p no rush -_-.
