I don't think of MEPs as nearly as competitive as AMVs, I expiramented and played around with mine! So I'm anxious to see everybody's peice, wether I laugh or not! I didn't really even crack a smile until like 2 HOURS into AMV Hell 3, that last mep I saw, Mr. Pilkington's, just pissed me off, I enjoyed them though... I am especially looking forward to this one, cuz I know so many involved anyway. I'm sure many will be incadentally funny as well, I'm sure many will be dull ^.^

- golden donut 2005-12-03 12:29:35 gather round noobs and listen to this old man's reminiscing -_-. The Golden Donut was the name (not sure if it's codename, official name or what) for the local server back when it started in... late 2002 I beleive ;p. For the first week or two Phade only let those who donated up front access and that was called the Golden Carrot. I had suggested to Phade that 'donut' is spell 'DOUGHNUT' but alas my cries had gone largeley ignored ;X wich is why I stubbornley refuse to call it donut. The latest initiative or server seems to be called 'pancake' though... so maybe the name is defunct. Tanks for askin, Celibi ;p like I said, second guessing has gotten lost since the local server. Now it's just 'oh!! that's your first video?? ok it's AWESOME'.... When you had to put effort into finding your own hosting (or goading a friend to host it for you ;p) there werent so many one shot wonders.

(and within like 20 ops too o.0) I enjoyed many Evanecance vids, the ones that were really intuitive and stuff (don't know about wake me up inside...) but I don't know about all the hate. Call me a sheep, but I got sick of the hate, I assimulate (*hippy*). I stand by my theory that that letter was sent by a 'concerned' parent after watching mj's latest 'I'm going under' HMV... Your google ad theory may very well hold water though! But imho, we can use a little bit of policing, second thought has become a lost art around here since the golden carrot got off the ground ('donut' er whatever)
