One important part is your interests (or whatever you call it)... you put in your interests ;p When it's submitted in your profile you look at it and it may have turned blue and have an underline under it like a link -_- that means that somebody else in this world likes the same thing!! Huzzah, Imagine that (well it honestly IS a suprise when you put in something really uncommon like I put in my brothers band, Jackie Swift, and I actually found someone!!!)!! You should start with amvs or amv, there's a bunch of 'suggestions' of ppl you'll... love to HATE. the pink ones (I think) are the communities, I've no idea but I think anybody who signs up can post as the community... don't know how that works.

Yeah, Livejournal -_- I like the format here at amvs.org alot better cuz in LJ (live journal, eljay as those 'in the know' call it...) you have to know specifically who your talking to/ stalking. This format you can lurk o.0 much better. Unfortunateley you get ALOT more spam like 'I'm bored' or 'MY BANNER WAS ACCEPTED!! (ok, that's not so much spam, but still you get alot of random ppl saying that here)' or the constant harrasment of virtual door-to-door salesmen ;p but there's always a downside. In Livejournal there's little room for randomosity. You do meet random ppl in LJ communities though, but their not so big. Anyway I check up on LJ, but not nearly as much as here -_-.
Also ranting in LJ is another boon I have. I just don't see it often. It's a joy to read, but random ppl like me would go crazy after a while.... I don't know, maybe it's me, but LJ seems more like the upper crust of journals, put your blogs elsewhere. When I rant I don't care to fit it into a filter, I don't care to... SPELLCHECK sometimes ;p I prefer the drunken stupor method ;p and I love this place for that ;p my stupidity feels right at home here lol.
