I don't think it's what your looking for, but I highly suggest you listen to it! I mean, it's CHEEZE (I like cheeze) more of a slow FLOOOOOWING thing when I think you want a faster more upbeat one. But I suggest Dale cuz he never seems to let me down, even some funny ones ;p but mostly cheeze. And the more terrible ones are TERRIBLE, couldn't be worse and they go ON AND ON repetitive for over 5 minutes sometimes! That's why I said maybe it'd be better if you ask the guinnea pigs. Like somebody just said on the forums "those 'find me <this> amv' threads tend to work because we have just WAY too much free time on our hands!' Well I'd say the good folk of Overclocked have more ;p. Also the search function has been really hard for me to use... but that may be just cuz I'm more used to the old way. Still it's NOTHING like the search here.

Betany, I'd search through the Overclocked remix'. Maybe ask there (remix.overclocked.org) cuz most game songs have to do with battles and it would take you a LONG time to go through all of them. I mean, that community is much like the amv community, in fact I think in many ways they ARE the same. Anyway, there are (actually a great majority of the songs -_- they are a cheezey bunch) a few instrumentals based on chacter themes that would fit in QUITE niceley.

How bout this though ;p you ever watched the French Dub of Evangelion?? lol it's THE BEST!! Excuse the presumption, but I don't really take you as an Eva fan so maybe that was a stupid question. But it was just a hilarious thing that just hit me -_-
OK down to the subject at hand, I was trying to be as general as I could ;p as really it's a more general thing... I just see red when ANYBODY says that. I have a TON of respect for you and any other of my old school friends though.
Truethfully I did enjoy the original Shenmue 2 (sub) over the Xbox version (dub) and I caught more than a few mistakes with my ears and was confirmed (most of it had to do with the transvestite, Yuan, who they changed into a man in even the DC Sub only version...) so yeah, you can stand on that and we agree that americanization sucks.
There are some things I have to be reminded of from time to time. So thanks for that mature take on my pesumptions. That is one thing I can count on the Yaoi community for -_- interesting conversations and mature replys.
OK now I'm gonna go on about Shenmue 2 cuz I just reminded myself and now I got to get it offa' my chest. WHYYYYYY Sega WHYYY! I mean, if anime companys can AT LEAST OFFER uncut commercial versions (ie the sub of Sailor Moon... I mean I can actually STAND that one!! and I will NEVER forget Sailor Stars S movie, chapter 12 opens with Serena saying to some minor character 'Hey, <whatever> what's up DOG!!' lol GHETTO!!) But WHY??? if they can do it WHY can't your SUB version AT LEAST reffer to this one charachter as a SHIM!!! BAD BAD Japanese company decision!! I'm pretty sure the Japanese version is uncut... at least the manga is. -

THIS is what I hate MOST about the anime community I am a part of. Though there have been a hand full of bad dubs over the years ppl seem to deny that there HAVEN'T been just as many, maybe MORE bad subs! 1) the language barrier 2) how do YOU know what their ACTUALLY saying sure you might but it's more likeley you don't. I mean, if the fansub messes up you think 'STUPID fansub', or 'lost in translation error' when it ACTUALLY COULD be a horrible japanese dub job you know -_- ALSO the fansubbers may cover up SOME mistake the japanese VA's make. 3) Much of this stigma stems from the 'US verses... anybody else' thought cuz after all the grass is always greener on the other side (for non-Americans, replace US with your country). What I mean is, maybe you don't like this because you don't like the way ADV over charges for their DVDs or FunI butchered DragonBall etc. My point is HOW DO YOU KNOW JAPANESE COMPANIES AREN'T 10X WORSE!!! How much experience do you have watching Japanese TV?? Most likeley, if your turning to fansubs, you don't have any.
YET! ppl ALWAYS turn to 'the Japanese version will be much better.' WTF?!! Look through your DVDs (if you have any...) and seriously tell me, HOW many of those subs are that much better than those dubs. I can tell you MOST of my dubs are supperior (Cowboy Bebop, tossup really. Escaflowne movie, DUB deffiniteley just cuz it's Dolby Digital ;p, NATHAT, DUB EASILY, it even SOUNDS clearer, Princess 9, dub, Robotech vs. Macross, Robotech EASILLY ;p Macross doesn't even make sense... hopefully ADV's will, Excel Saga, dub, Tenchi ;p ok sub... Evangelion, dub). How many of those dubs had you even listened to before.
Again, yes, a handfull WERE ABSOLUTELEY TERRIBLE (Slayers).

also amvhell3 is over-rated, yes... I beleive I described it as '2 hours in and FINALLY I can laugh' or something like that. I enjoyed the 'Swiper no SWIPING' bit TONS though lol. Kitsuner rocks.
