Freaking org needs a standard to release to. It's always such a bother to get the h264 codec when I've already got divx/ xvid and wmv's. Least wmvs are standard but... sucks that they suck. Also that's youtube, myspece, yahoo whatevers noob standard I want something BETTER! Not too much better though. I hope they make h264 standard in Vista. Ya know, I never checked out H264's audio encodeing capabilitys...
As far as my order of editing, I edit in the order of the song (front to back... BUT NOT IN THE ORDER OF THE ANIME!! It freakin bugs me when watching an amv it's like I'm watching the anime, no matter how good it's edited, I want something different). But I recently got the comment 'it's like every beta you do just gets better and better!' ... I was like, 'aren't they supposed to do that??' lol... but than I thought of some of the other vids I'd beta'd. I don't really work front to back like ppl might think of working front to back. I finish the song (or just my thought, what I intend to do with the song) every time... I thought that was normal but I guess it's not. Many ppl when they edit they edit like 10 seconds at a time. I don't do that... Probly would cut down production time if I only rendered 10 seconds every time rather than the whole damned thing, but you tend to come across unforseen problems when looking at the big picture all the time and I don't mind takeing my time. Anyway, yeah... it's weird how a little thing like that can make SUCH a big difference. -
