Mai Otome (I had d/led it beforehand).... started that sentance off wrong.
I watched the first 4 episodes (intro) of Mai Otome. I have a feeling it is to Mai Hime as Futakoi Alternative is to Futakoi. AKA not at all. Except for the underlying... undertones, but other than that. Oh, it's still a BROODING shoujo, it still causes eruptions of egotistical laughter and belches (EGOTISTICAL BELCHES) throught my chest. Torture really. Aaah why do I watch this stuff???

yeah, it's not like I don't like Anime. I wouldn't be here if I didn't like anime ^,^. But It's my cheap entertainment ;p. I'm just here cuz I can't afford to watch Superman Returns on the big screen -_-. But now I've found just how fun imagination can be. I just take things as they are, anime is cheap entertainment... like outsourced jobs and sweatshops. It's just anime fans want it to gain the respect books have gained and it should. It is just books in the digital world.

Hey Shino! you;ll never guess what! I just checked myy pms and one of my pms I sent to Rina was 'lol soooo hard!' AHAHAHAHA to get that twice in one day, from two 'bachelors' (though your kinda' young lol).... she must be flattered ;p.
Man, Rina's deadly... all the hardness.
Oh btw, on the American Anime topic, Anime is french actually. It's a french word. The Japanese didn't start it just adopted 'it' and made it famous... probly out of necessity. Cuz what is Anime but dramatic cartoons. Americans should stick with Hollywood and now huge computer farms in Silicon Valley for their CG. I agree, we shouldn't even touch Anime. Anime is really low brow hollywood. take Indy Movies - anything real life. Hate to say it but seen clearly the only reason why the Japanese traditionally turned to it was 1) they couldn't afford Hollywood style (real life) stuffs -ever seen a samurai movie?? scratch that, ever seen a GOOD, BELEIVEABLE samurai movie?? None of this peter pan stuff. Yes, America would be better of pulling out of anime while Japan would be better off pulling out of indie films IMO. 2) the geography of Japan (constant earthquakes, rocky terrain) just wouldn't make a good Hollywood -_-.
But bottom line, we get both ;p
Yeah ;p and I support Bush -_- he's the best we got. Kinda' sad but true ;p.
