he should meet my aunt (maybe he HAS! She has an ex named Bob or something... Robert, Brad... that she scared off too Idaho!!!). I tend to agree with him....
  • Past few days 2006-09-22 12:52:25 OK when last we spoke I was rushing though Dirge of Cerberus awaiting a bundle of DVDs plus Phantasy Star Universe. Update: well now I'm packing up the DOC to send back to gamefly cuz I have Phantasy Star Universe and half of my dvds I had ordered from Rightstuf. I'll tell you what happened in between than-

No, I didn't finish DOC but I got far enough and am satisfied with what I'd seen. -well-... that sounded ALOT more exciting in my head.... well mostly because my punchline didn't come out right lol. ok start over. I didn't finish it, but I got to the 'point of no return' (the point... where I don't return... the point where I just give up!). See, I only use one eye (there! my secret's out...), the other one just gets in the way but I refuse to put a patch over it cuz it makes me look gaye (and it's incredibly HUMID and stuff I'd gauge my eye out before wearing a patch with a live eyeball... and no that is out of the question, I am NOT gaugeing my eye out!). Anyway the games (action games mostly wich is why I HATE them) have fallen into a disturbing trend. Later levels typically have visuall effects that simply plays 'tricks' on the retinas. In this game they simply OVER USE a NASTY motion blur. Now take into account my one eye is doing the work of two PLUS ignoreing the other (and trying to gauge depth perception... blabity blah) that, when put together with the blur and amount of times the stupid camera goes crazy I wouldn't be suprised if Squaresoft wasn't in for a lawsuit on their hands!! Where's the love for the one eyed man!!

-lol on that note, you know the scene at the end of Mr. Deeds where crazy eyes is on a road that splits, he doesn't notice and goes through the middle... LOL! love that scene.-

-_- ok well anyway that had my head spinning for days. Plus I'd grown a senseitivity toward unaliased (ps2) gameing. It's like interlaced amvs. I just don't like it. It PHYSICALLY makes me ILL after a while. There was a thread about that on one of the console gameing boards I visit. Doesn't happen on Gamecube, Xbox or even PS1, but the PS2 is just BRUTAL. Sony's in for a lawsuit as well lol... I wouldn't be suprised (though I'm not one to complain... publicly).

So later on that night I got Phantasy Star (my jp pc game). I planned to clean up after sending DOC back THAN install it and veg out on gameing goodness (and by veg out I mean... well I already went over me and MMORPGS lol). I'm not too good on multitasking. If I do something else I tend to let the initial thing slip... Well, ok, but the next day I was in NO mood to think (head was spinning plus my stomach was churning). So I cleaned house. No need to think with that and I KNEW I wasn't gonna barf or anything. So. Later on that day I got my package from rightstuf. Only half the stuff though, I had to do it in 2 orders, but that's ok. I wasn't doing anything anyway that day.

So that was yesterday. Brings us to today ^.^ I get to install PSU and start on my road to new fanboyage -_- yay!!
  • Lazyness pervades 2006-09-22 12:02:49 "Do People read these things?"

Ken Shimazu, now, I'm not so sure. Some people (not includeing Ari, I think she was just doing her part in being a good member...) have taken some of the air out of some of our sails... but we do... still read journals. Me, not as much as before, but we do! I invite you to stop by more often!

As another who pretty much stopped AMVing in 2003 thanks to FF11 but recently returned (it's a WHOLE lot cheaper!! ... cept when you have to replace your HDTV monitor!! -_-) I can tell you, don't feal like we've passed you by! We haven't. Sure lotsa' new rules like Creed, Evanescance, Seether among others, gone. But nothing real big. Most AMVs are still just Anime to music. Some like to do more creative stuff, but it's (sadly) not the most popular thing. You seem to see that you CAN get more creative than just synching anime to music. I'd like to see you visualize those ideas!

But about FF11 -lol- I hadn't played in 1.5 years but let me tell you when I play I PLAY. I don't exactly play to get further in the game, I play more to have fun. But I think I'd found the most efficient way so I really don't mind not playing any more. If your still around and your a red mage be my guest and pick my brain on some OUTLANDISH concepts that turn out better in the end. From all aspects. My pickup partys faired better than my costum made parties, cuz in pickup parties you have more room to be creative wheras in a custom group you have 5 other egos too contend with so a more 'traditional' method is called for.

Maybe I'll make a guide in gamefaqs and call it 'the guide to being an EFFICIENT pickup party leader'. <- They hate me at gamefags ;p.

    anyway.

Alot had happened the last few days only I hadn't felt like posting as I had a HUGE migrane and the room WOULDN'T stay still -_-. So... I'll post it all in the next message.

  • Aww Rina... 2006-09-18 02:04:55 But I don't know if I want anybody to know I made that lol...
  • Earth to Square 2006-09-18 00:02:14 you'd think that the 'king' (the king is rather loopy imo...) of rpgs could make a decent storyline. The story in Dirge of Cerberus just REAKS. Anything worth playing on this thing is trueley just for nostalgia, as flint said in a journal a while back *these things DO have a purpose o.0!* Feals like they pawned it off onto one of their lesser teams. Seems like Square has ALOT of lesser teams lol.
