I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK!!!
And no complaints about Best Buy. They actually did good! 1) my computer is actually RUNNING now. (not that I couldn't a fixed it... I just got the lazy bug) 2) the new hardware they installed was covered with the amount I paid (so no extra fees :D) 3) they chopped off 65 bucks from the bill as well -_-
Which was a good thing. For my brother's Christmas present I got him a $60 gift card... so basically I just got a Christmas present for free ;D. Coarse, according to him, I shouldn't even had spent the money to get this computer fixed in the first place and CERTAINLY not on Worst Buy!! Me? I just don't have that sucky, grinchy, square attitude. I DO have a sucky, grinchy, square outlook sometimes! but not THAT sucky, grinchy, square thing. See, he's the type that believes he can fix everything (square, everything is preset, all the same). That's where we differ. I'd come acrossed enough CRAP in my life that I know things CONSTANTLY change. The world is not square. it is round, with a hump in the Pacific ocean -_-. Silly man.
So about the computer though. I'm SURE he coulda fixed it. I'm sure *I* coulda' fixed it. I knew that if you switched the power supply everything would be fixed. Only I didn't have one on me. I'm always willing to pay a bit to get instant satisfaction :D. All this while he's in the other room waiting for HIS power supply ("his" comptuer broke as well...). I just look at the situation and chuckle a bit.
A very naive, nervous chuckle, as I had been sitting on even bringing this IN for more than enough time to receive and install a new power supply. But... I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT! So he says "pay me to do it!" yeah, right, on his schedule?? he's the reason I couldn't bring this thing in way back before THANKSGIVING!
... ok so rants aside. It's also funny (laughing at HIS ASS :D) what's going on with that PS3 he got. 'Member I was standing in line for one? Well he (and a few friends) was there two. We got him one. The rest of us left a day early cuz we weren't getting one. Well he's supposed to sell it now. He put it on Ebay, but the bid he got, 2 grand, just wasn't enough for him (he bought it at 600 bucks). His excuse was 'everybody and their brother (just not THIS brother...) got a ps3 to sell on ebay. Let's wait till supply runs low'... Yeah... I told him. the BEST time to put it on would have been right around December 1 (he still has time.. slightly) cuz 1) many people buying it wouldn't be buying it for themselves. They'd have to receive it, wrap it up, then send it back out. If I was them, I'd start looking around the first. 2) anybody with half a mind buying a ps3 on say, December 15th, probably won't pay for TOO much of a markup and would hold the 'why not just wait 10 days for the next big shipment and pay retail than??' card. I mentioned this to him on the first. Doubt he listened to me... So dumb, he tried his hand at scalping tickets earlier and got stuck with like 15 tickets to Wrestlemania in the Tacomadome (Seattle) lol. I do enjoy laughing at his dumb ass... but good thing this doesn't happen too often. We got bills to pay and I aint payin' his.
So anyway that's why I bought him a 60 dollar gift card to BB. Just enough to buy a PS3 game ;p *sneaky sneaky* but if he DOES happen to sell that thing by Christmas. It's a gift card! he can do ANYTHING he wants to do with it! - *crys* 2006-12-02 12:21:50 no new computer. must hold out for the weekend.

Probably something really sarcastic. I should watch said video before I criticize it (... and beleive me, I WILL... criticize it) but I'm on my room-mate's son of a computer (it was mine... but now it's just a son of a computer) and it's buggier than HELL right now. -
