More like 'can't get back to sleep so I'm futzin' around with my computer' rant.
So I wasn't able to get my Financial Aid check... 'parently their not open on Fridays.
Grr... but for some unexplicable reason... I want to make it my goal to upgrade the computer I DON'T use with this money... so I've spent it already -_- I suck at finances.

yeah, my goal is to make the computer in the other room the ULTIMATE gameing computer. It's already alright. Athlon 3800+ (single core), 1gig ram, x850 (agp) etc., new 500mhz PSU, 20.1" LCD Monitor, pretty good, but I wanna make it better! Coarse I refuse to upgrade the motherboard... but see the deal is, Vista and X10 are on the horrizon! and with money in the bank I'm foamin' at the mouth ;p. So I wanna add vista to that computer, mostly for the gameing aspects. Vista and DX10's new architecture should make my computer ALOT more friendly towards games like Oblivion (not that I play it anyway... but), however my x850 videocard is a bit old for oblivion, not too mention my single core processor. my options are rather limited, but I can still find a (rare) x1950 pro agp and maybe an x2 4600+ for ~400 bucks. I just hope my psu can hold. It should, it's new...
Also my 'work' computer has 2gigs ram. I really should switch the two (ram wise) as I really don't need more than 1gig if I keep xp on this thing. Work computer is pretty good hardware wise with it's P4D950 3.6ghz proc, x800 all in wonder, 1 or 2 gigs ram, 500mhz psu (yes another one, but a quieter, less beefy one if I recall right), 19" LCD. It's great for video editing and Fable, FF11, PSU, WoW etc.
So in the end I'm sure I'll get a MUCH better gameing experience on the other machine if I just do this. And it's total I'm sure, will be less than $400 (after selling the other stuff, not includeing the ram), a steal!
Though I really don't game much... at all. But this might change that. I may as well just get a 360 though... but.

The progress on my project has been moved up a notch!! ... still it's at 'WTF?? This shoulda' peen done LAST WEEK!!' status though. Seriously. Editing without a song REALLY stresses your schedule. Especially when you have NO idea when it'll end.
And why don't people think that AT LEAST the ten people on every recent journals list will read your journal entry ~~... grrr. -

OK I got plans to put together a few MEPs... when I get time.
Now the concept on these are a little screwed up.... I pick one song and want people to go crazy on it -_-. Why?? what's so wrong with that?? It's basically AMV Hell CE.
First I KNOW I am doing this one before July, the 7/7/07 project useing Audioslaves Bring Em Back Alive to .... a bunch of Angel Animes, official name, Angel's anthem.
Violent Femmes- Add it up to .... well it started with just Haruhi but now I got SO MANY more ideas.... official name, girls want it too~~ (seriously, it goes 'why can't I get just one -kiss fuck screw etc..... sorry Jubby....-)
Yello- Oh Yeah to.... it started with just Elfen Leid, official name. the "I'd still do her" MEP. The idea is those HAWT serial killer chicks that you just KNOW if you get involved with, you're gonna die -_- but that doesn't stop you (*wink*) starting with Elfen Leid and ending with Noir.... maybe a little Mezzo Forte in between. -
