Why is it that computers crash at the worst possible time?
The first instance that really ticked me off was when I was making a music video to "One perfect day" by Lydia Denker and D.N.Angel and my computer chucked such a hissy fit that it had to be formatted.....hence the NO download on that vid on this site, I know I have a back up somewhere but the question is...WHERE?
Anywho, the most recent occurance happened when I was making a birthday present for a friend and movie maker froze on me. After ages of trying to get it to even opne the files, it decideds it oesn't want to work anymore and freezes........and I couldn't save......
You only realise how long it's been since your last save when you loose everything up to it. MAybe it's time to get a better movie making program...but what? Ah well, that's enough for today. -
Subtitles

I came to a realisation recently. Subtitles in music videos suck.
Yes I know, everyone already knew that, but it hit me really hard the other day when watching this great vid with well timed special effects and some pretty cool overlays, but it had subtitles!
I guess this makes me the biggest hypocrite in the world, since I have been guilty of making videos with subtitles. And I've found some great videos with subtitles, I just wish I could wave a magic wand and make the subtitles go away. Wouldn't that be great!
(I in no way support the downloading of series that have perfectly good DVD for sale. Fansubs are great, I worship them, but DVD's are the best way of owning a series you love!) -

Well anyway, I recently downloaded a Music vid from here, and because it was relitevly large (70+ Mgs) I thought it was going to be really really good. I guess size doesn't matter after all because it wasn't good.
It got me thinking that there should be some sort of limit to the size of a video if it's not that good. I know that goodness is in the eye of the watcher and that people should be and are free to upload any size vid they want but.............this is a rant it doesn't have to make sense!!
I mean I know my videos aren't the greatest most of the time (Most of the time, they're downright bad) but at least they're pretty small so even if I say they're ok people won't kill they're limits for a vid they think is so-so.
Ok that's my rant, as mean and petty as it was, love it or hate it!
