Why do I keep writing these?
2004-03-08 00:24:49
Does anyone know why I keep writing these journals. I never have been able to keep a journal before. Not even when it was required of me. My english grade is a testament to that. And while I can't ever keep a regular journal (that will NEVER happen) I still manage to get entries here several times a week. What is so different about here than anywhere else?
Is it the typing? The fact that people I don't know and will probably never meet are reading it on a whim? Or maybe it is something deeper. Maybe it is because I know people read it, and regardless of what I say, they react to it. Like we share a bond, whether it be soccer or boarding or the dislike of school, something in common that for a little bit makes us feel not so alone in the world.
When I talk about things that vex me, (I do love that word vex) I know there is someone out there nodding their head right along with what I'm saying and saying, "I know exactly what you mean." You know, I think its that comraderie one feels when two people endure the same situations and share about them. It helps make one not feel quite so lonely and bleak about life because so many other people are right there with you, even though you don't know them.
You can all puzzle about that in your off time. I'm going to go finish some math. Later all.

Funny Banner
2004-03-05 10:24:30
I was going to write about something but I forgot what it was after I read the banner that appeared on my journal page. It has one of the Sailor Moon girls chasing Piccolo and then it says "The only place (whare) two anime meet." Is it just me or is that spelled wrong? Is this some universal inside joke of the true anime fans or what?
K got that outta the system. I'm about to go school. yay......the only thing I'm looking forward to today is my powerpoint presentation on ebola. Not only did I make a good presentation I think, but I made it pretty funny too. I can't wait to show it to everyone in class.
Well that is all for now, that banner has made me dumber already, I can't even remember what I wanted to write about in the first place, so I'll just head to school now. Later all.

It got cold......
2004-03-03 20:30:14
Man it is cold here right now. And I mean like freezing. It would be snowing in any normal place, but where I live, there is rain and then there is freezing rain. Snow is just unheard of. Today in track it was freezing rain the entire time, and we had a hellish hill workout. If you don't know what a hill workout is, thank God you are so blessed. The hill we work on is a hell on earth. It starts out pretty easy, about the first 75 meters or so, then it takes a sharp corner and once you get around that corner, it gets UGLY. It goes from about a 35* angle to about 65 70 degrees. And I'm not exaggerating or joking. It is totally like that. But it wasn't that bad I guess, at least I know I'm working harder than most of the kids in my state. (I hope they all don't read this and start working harder)
On to school. It sucks. I'm behind. As usual. I'm catching up though, maybe I can even eek out a 4.0 point if I pull off a miracle and get 100% on every assignment in every class I've got. Pray for me people, pray.
That is all for now, I've got junk to do before I go to bed so I'll probably get another entry off before bed or before school tomorrow. Later all.

Hmmm, Bagels.......
2004-03-01 23:21:41
Ya know, one of the GREATEST snack foods of all time has got to be bagels with strawberry cream cheese. Oh my god, it is heaven just eating this glorious and magnificent concoction of bread and dairy products. And while I'm on the subject of snack foods, Goldfish anyone? I used to literally live off of those, I'm not sure what goes into the little cheesy gilled aquatic denizens of goodness, but it can keep a human being going for quite awhile. Then there is ice cream, ya gotta love it. Fruit by the foot, gushers, breakfast pockets. I live off snack food.
Moving along, I had track practice as always today. I'm supposed to be a sprinter but we run so much I'm beginning to think they are simply calling me that while training me for something long distance. (To me, anything more than a 100 is long distance) Today I got to run 12 200's. That is 2400 meters. Quite a long way.
Hmm, now I'm having trouble with my cell phone. I can't turn my sounds back on, even though I've browsed through EVERY menu this stupid thing has. And now nobody is talking to me on MSN, not cool. Why is it that a day can be goin ok and then out of the blue, a bunch of annoying and depressing things happen at once?
Oh well, time to curl into a ball and shield myself from the outside world until I recover. Later all.

Music, God's way of keeping me sane
2004-02-29 20:53:58
I just got this new song. It is now my favorite. There is just this special feeling when you find a great song while just fishing out there for music. I love when that happens. In fact every time I end up getting a new favorite song, it isn't ever recommended, I've never heard of it before, and I immediately get everything else from that artist that I can. Anyone else like that?
On a more serious note, I've been wondering if I should not go to a military academy for college. The free education and all that sounds nice and I wanted to go into the military, but lately I haven't been having the best of grades and I don't exactly have a well rounded resume. Basically I've got more than enough of everything but leadership experience because even though I've tried twice to get on my class board, it hasn't worked out because you gotta be popular and hang out with all the kids who are normal, unlike myself. People who listen to rap, hate anime, and are all about their own petty lives. So basically your normal teen. (At least that seems to be the norm in my experience, I'm hoping someone would tell me it is otherwise) Although my brother was never on class board and the most leadership experience he ever got was President of Key Club, and he got into an academy so maybe I've still got a shot.
Oh and for anyone that has been keeping track, I've got a few more injuries to add to my list. Now, I've got an injured (not hurt) wrist, ankle, foot and knees. The only appendage that is any good on me anymore is my left arm, I'll be left handed in no time at the rate I'm going. Maybe I shouldn't play so many sports. Soccer three nights a week with track practice everyday......might catch up to me eventually. But it is all so much fun, I don't want to quit.
Well that is all I've got for now, time to go get an orange, beat my new rpg that I bought and maybe do some make up work in one of my classes. Take it easy all.
