It gets really hard to come up with interesting journal titles after a while...

I'm happy today. Very Happy. But I won't be fully happy until about...*looks at watch*...around 2 hours from now. You wanna know why? Well if you don't, too bad :p cause you're reading my journal and are subject to whatever I may like to tell you *laughs evilly*
...*ahem*...
But yea, the reason I'm so happy is because today is my LAST day of summer classes!!! Woo-hoo!!! This means I can work on my AMVs, and hang out with my friends, and sleep normally!!! *Sniff* You don't know what this means to me... :-D
But no, I cannot get too overjoyed until I finish my final exam. And I got my paper done too! (which was a miracle because I did almost all of it Today before coming to school).
And on top of all that, today was payday!! (Ok, the exclamation points are getting a little out of hand...oh well) I went to the mall and picked up the Fight Club soundtrack (mainly for 'This is Your Life', but the other tracks are good too), The Mark of Kri (I made out like a bandit on this, it was only 40 bucks. It's supposed to be quite the good game, and it flew almost completely under the radar, which is good for me). I was also looking for a Godhead album, but there were sadly none in Sam Goody. Guess I'll have to try somewhere else.
Well, that about wraps it up. Gotta head to class and dance with the almighty final one last time this summer.
Later guys.
P.S.-MJ, good luck on your new project. The first one on Premiere is always a little difficult. You'll do fine, master of WMM :p

Finally...stopped...laughing...

Ok, about a week ago I picked up Otaku No Video form the mall, but never really got around to watching it. Well I just did today, and I must say it was HILARIOUS. The 'Portrait of an Otaku' segments were funny in the extreme, especially the later portraits. I swear that MrOni might have been one of the guys interviewed. Wonder if he ever lived in Japan...

No title for this...

DD- trigun is a very good series, I just finished watching it today. I wouldn't really suggest it though, unless you're going to get the box set.
Have you considered, or gotten, Hellsing? It's pretty good, and dark. Another anime I thoroughly enjoyed was Metropolis. It's a movie, not a series though, and I don't know if that's what you're limiting your focus to.

Digtal Dojo- I think you've nailed Eva's 'point' right on the head with your synopsis. I've seen people go into 5 page explanations of what Evangelion 'means' and basically miss what I see as the entire point: Shinji's quest to understand himself, and by understanding himself and the way he feels, learn to deal with his life and love himself.
Blah, that's about it for me. I'm watching disc 6 of Trigun right now while I chat in the org chatroom. I also watched Hellsing today, and I must say it rocked, it rocked hard. It's stylish as hell too, which goes a long way in my book. I can't wait for the next disc to come out. The preview of X they had on the disc kicked ass too.

Spiffyness...and spending money

Well, today was payday, so I went to the mall after work. (and showering, and the bank. Checks are kind of useless unless you cash them :p) I dropped by Sam Goody and picked up The 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' Soundtrack, mostly because I wanted to have 'Eternal Vow' (I love that song, Yo Yo Ma rocks!). I also got CD by John Mayer, and (thanks to ShonnenDizzyCow's video) I picked up...
...The Essential Johnny Cash Collection. Yep, you heard right, I picked up a Johnny Cash CD (two discs no less) because of an AMV. The set also had 'The Wanderers' on it, which is actually Johnny Cash and U2 (and also happens to be the song in Shonnen's video 'The Final Wanderers'.
Now for anyone who thought that I was putting down Johnny Cash or country music I just want to assure you that I wasn't. It's just that I never really listened to much country (and still don't actually), and I was surprised that I went out and picked up a CD by a country artist just like that *snaps* because of an AMV. I've got a diverse taste in music in most people's eyes, but I've been trying to expand my choice in music even further in the past year or so. I can't say that getting into AMVs had nothing to do with it; in fact, it's introduced quite a few songs that I consider among my favorites.
Anyway, back to my trip to the mall. After I left Sam Goody I went upstairs to Suncoast, and picked up Hellsing. Can't wait to watch it...
Well, now I'm off to surf the forums and download some videos. I don't know what the connection is in this Computer Lab, but last night I downloaded AD's 'Shameless Rock Video' in ten minutes. Too bad it was encoded in DivX, since this computer didn't have the codec on it. I fixed that about 5 minutes ago, so now it's time to see how crazy this video really is...
Later everyone.
