300 - thoughts day after watching

At least in Polish cinemas "300" appeared. It's not a premier yet, since such will be tomorrow but I reserved a ticket for a pre-premiere show, and so yesterday I was finally able to confront my expectations with reality.
I must say it was quite good. The plot was obvious, but since I knew, that it wouldn't be a movie with sophisticated plot, I ejoyed it. The work of computer graphic was awesome, the landscapes looked realistic most of the time and the idea with Slowing/fatening take out the full potential of the fights. A little "insane mood" was a great advantage of this movie, especially thx to main actor who really fitted the role. Also the scene when they laugh under the rain of arrow is a pure win.
It wasn't perfect though. The first wolf looked more like LOTRs worg than a big, badass wolf. And the talk Leonidas had with Kserkses take a burst of laughter of me and my friends - it was almost Kserkses wanted to say "I'll give you Greece for a bit of buttsecks"
All in all, was fun and the film is really well made. - :] 2007-03-06 18:18:30 Aaah :] Finally my newest AMV is done ;] was really fun editing, so it's sad a bit that it's done already, but on the other hand it's nice seeing the idea not only in my head ut also on my monitor. The other things that make it sweeter are the new productions that I had started planning already. And of course I'm eager to edit to Armstrong and the other idea to Vivaldi ;] Especially the second one - among all the classics Vivaldi is my favorite.
- New semester stuff 2007-02-20 17:15:19 I love the plan for this semeter :] 18 hours a week divided in a way, that i have Thursday and Friday free :D 4 days weekend = awsm ;]
- Mecha + Yuri = fail 2007-02-09 16:14:14 Geez... Kannazuki no Miko is so retarded... I mean... what sane person would merge together religion, magic, destiny, yuri and... GIANT ROBOTZ? x[ It's the last time I bought series after watching an AMV :{
- Inevitable doom aproaches... 2007-02-08 03:15:27 2 hours before the last exam... If I pass I'm done with all the exams this semester and can finally rest... But knowing the essence of this exam it would be a miracle if I pass at first try :S *sigh*... Well like they say: luck is a part of a skill, right? ;P
