    In addition to that, it's not like Koop edited Euphoria in a week's time. It took him months to edit that. I talked to him before it came out (I got to see a special RVP preview :^D ) and he said the scenes at 2:34 and such with the hexagons, he had to edit each frame individually to do that. Sure, the guy's got talent, but it doesn't just roll off his back like water off a duck's feathers. It takes hard, long hours to produce what he did. If anything, it should be respected, not feared. I mean, damn. Look at what one of our brethern did. But then again, Fluxy's "Souls" video kicks a whole fuckton of ass, too! We should celebrate together Koop's accomplishment, not cower away because we may not be able to reproduce the same effect for our next video.

    Seriously folks, it's just a video. It's not *THE* video, it's another video. Granted, it's a superb looking one, and probably has a great story (I haven't watched but two episodes of Rahephon), but come on. You're going to quit because of it? What got you into AMVs in the first place? For me, it was seeing ones that I didn't like and I said "Hell, I could do better than that!" I'm not going to look at a video and say "Crap, I can't do better than that. I'm out!" No way! That contradicts the reason I started editing! I see this as a challenge, not an ultimatum. Besides, I still have to beat Wonka ;^D

    At any rate, to quit AMV making over one video is not only stupid, it's selfish. That's right, selfish. You're quitting because you don't think you can live up to his video. You're worried that no one will think your videos are great. Wouldn't you call that selfish? I know my videos aren't watched as much as other people, but that doesn't bother me. I know the people that do watch them give me honest responses about them. I had two people at the Hypeo forum tell me that they didn't like my Wolf's Rain AMV, and cited why they didn't like it. I would much more welcome a well thought negative critizism than someone saying "ITS AWESOME OMG LOL!!!" I get much more out of the fact that someone analyed my video and pointed out specific reason for them not liking it than someone telling my it's their favorite video, but nothing else.

    Just out of curiosity, how many people who are thinking of quitting over Koop's "Euphoria" though about quitting over AD's "SRV?" I'm sure some might have flirted with the thought, but didn't follow through. Why this video? Isn't there anything from that video you didn't like? I showed this video to my mom ("What is this? Is this that anime stuff?") and she said she thought it was very flashy, but her favorite part (well, the part she liked) was the end. Because it was calm and soothing. There wasn't anything really going on. I have a knack for simplifying what people have to say, so I just blurted out "In other words, there's a fine line between 'intricate' and busy?'" She said that's exactly what she meant. So if the video doesn't impress my mother, then what makes you think it'll wow everyone at a convention/competition?

    Seriously everyone, don't quit AMV making.
