JOURNAL: Rozard (Brian Nickerson)

  • Dave Matthews drives a Volvo 2002-11-08 00:58:17 No seriously. On my way to work, this guy pulls up behind me in a Volvo, and he looked just like Dave Matthews! I guess he was going to band practice.

I have to thanks leathelanime, who has taken the time to give my new video its first review! Thanks, man! :^D

It's getting to be a nice temperature here in South Florida. Low 80s, high 70s; it's all good. Which will allow me to better enjoy this Saturday, which I have off from work. I'll probably end up sleeping in, though. But I'm determined to go play DDR tomorrow, no matter how much of a fool I'll make out of myself! Especially to the little 6 year olds that can whip ErMaC's ass. It doesn't matter though; I'll just take their game money if they laught at me. Also, while I'm at that mall, I need to check the Newtype USA magazine for an article about AMVs. I think it was The Wired Knight that said there was something in there abour starting to make AMVs.

Oh, today at work we had a few people stay past 10 PM, which is when we close. ¬¬ This one lady got three small bags of chips, a gallon of ice cream, and two bags of frozen vegitables. She leans over to me and says, "Could you please bad these together (The chips) and these together (The ice cream and frozen vegitables)." *Rolls eyes* Folks, the first thing they teach ANYONE at Publix is "When bagging, cold stuff goes together, and fragile stuff you keep seperate from everything else." I almost wanted to hit this lady. Then we had the dipshit that stayed 20 minutes past closing. The manager comes on the intercom and announces "Will all associates please bring their final purchases up to the front, the store is now closed (We have to address the employees, it's supposedly against Publix Policy to tell the customers to leave.)" Well, about a minute later this dude comes into my register and starts unloading a full cart. "Aren't you guys open until 11?" Well, apparently not. ¬¬

Eh, that's enough for me now. I was going to finish typing this about an hour ago, but I got drawn into the forums. I'm going to bed. Peace.
  • Don't you know it! 2002-11-06 14:36:28 My new video is up!!!

    http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=12159

    ...And there was much rejoicing
    XD
  • In addition to my last post: 2002-11-04 00:19:27 I looked at the date I created my Ghost In The Shell project in Premiere the other day: Sept. 3, 2002. So that means that it's actually only 2 months old. I could have swore that it was older than that. Oh well, I guess that means I'm not as lazy as I thought I was

    XD
  • So now it's almost finished 2002-11-04 00:17:22 I've just got to do some mastering on my video tomorrow after class, and I should have it up for download by the nights end! ^_^ I'm very excited. The responses I've been getting from my beta are "Um......OK...." "Dude, I hate the song." "I LOVE THAT SONG!!!" <--MJ =Þ "It fits the mood of the songs well." Pretty much, the video quality is quite good (DivX rip) and the idea for the video is a stretch, but I don't care. I made this video as I've made all of my videos: for me. The idea came to me, and I decided to make it; I can only hope that others will enjoy it.

In the meantime, I'll tell you what I did this weekend...

Friday I took my brother to work at 8 in the morning, only to fall back asleep when I got home, and staying asleep until 12:30pm. So much for making use of my time. After I took a shower (mental picture >_< )I looked at my AIM away messages and began work editing a remix for the NES Project (Purple_Haze_-_Flash_(Mega_Man_2)).I headed off to deposit my check and get something to eat, and when I got home, I sent the edited mix to Fluxy. Going to pick my brother up from work was fun: Two cops blared their sirens to get past traffic. I thought it annoying, until I got to an intersection where a car had fliped over in the side of the road. Yeah, that sucked.
Well, I picked my brother up, and once our parents got home, we decided to go to a new Japanese resturant to eat. It was in one of Palm Beach Gardens' little mini-community things. PBG has a bunch of these; designer homes, apartments upon stores, resturants, movie theater. This particular one, Abacoa, is home to Roger Dean Stadium where the local minor league baseball team plays, and where the St. Loius Cardnials come for Spring Training. Well, we sat at one of the hibachi grills. My brother and I had the sushi meal and a Dragon Roll. Yum ^_^ I then spent the night talking online and visiting forums.

Saturday: Got up at 6am to get ready for work at 7:30am. Got off at 4pm, then went home with brother at 4:30pm. Our family went to eat at a Duffy's locale. This particular one was a higher-end sports bar. At 7pm, I arrived at band practice. Now, I said in my journal before that I had quit the band, but they recently kicked out their drummer, and I still support their band, so I'm acting as an interim drummer. Now, if they get their act together (Which they said they had, but proved last night that they hadn't) then I might come back on board as their permenant drummer. But until then, I'm just sitting in. I broke a head off of a drum stick while imitating one of the guys in Slipknot. I went to 7-Eleven to get a Ramen bowl and I picked up a new drink as well: "Kuat," from Coke. Apparently, it's made from Guamara (sp? I threw away the bottle), and it was quite good. Peculiar would have been the word I used, but I enjoyed it as well. Too bad they charged 50¢ more for just 20oz of soda. I came home after filling up the gas, only to find my brother and father glued to the couch watching football. I wanted to watch Inu-Yasha at 11pm, like I have been for the past few weeks, but they said I had to wait for the game to finish. "Come on, Brian, there's only 1:41 left in the game!" Translation: Wait 10 minutes. The game might be over then. Well, I finally got to watch about half of the show, and then stayed and watched the episode of Yu Yu Hakusho. I wanted to watch the episode of Cowboy Bebop as well (Honky Tonk Woman), but I was just too fucking tired. I got in bed at around 1:30am after screwing around online.

Sunday: Wake up at 9am to take a shower and get ready for work at 11am. Blah blah blah. I get off at 8pm, ( -_-;;; ) go home and watch some of the James Bond movie that was on (The World Is Not Enough). I leave at 10pm to pick up my brother from work (He started at 4pm, that rat bastard *hate*), and picked up some ice cream at the store next door. I came back home, worked on my video a little bit, and here I am. Pretty intersting, huh? :

I'm suprised that I wrote as much as I did for Saturday. I knew I wouldn't write much for today though. Oh, shit! I promised this girl in my Speech class that I'd burn her a CD of AMVs, and I still haven't done it yet. She mainly wants "Bitches," but I'm going to fill 'er to the top with AMVs. Well, that's about it. Before I go, I gotta give mad props to Wonka's "Soultaker" vid. I hadn't looked at the HypeO CD I got from him at AWA until Thursday, and that was the first time I saw it. Awesome music video, I now love 30 Seconds From Mars. OK, that's it. Peace!
  • It's Halloween, not the fourth of July.... 2002-10-31 22:56:34 I say this because as I'm writing this, I have 1776 journal hits. Other weird facts:
1). I had to work 7 hours today
2). I got to wear my Spike costume to work
3). I'm wearing my Spike costume right now ^_^
4). I have pictures of it that need to be developed (for ladydx ;^D )
5). A year ago today I joined the ORG

0_0 Yes, that's right! It's been one whole year. Also, I didn't realize this before, but I made my first video over a month before I joined the ORG. It still sucks though... :^P

I've gotten some more work done on my Ghost In The Shell video...the one that I still haven't finished yet -_- Man! Why has it taken me so long to make this video! I keep getting pulled away from working on it. I swear it's been at least 4 months since I started editing. Well, I wanted to finish it before the month's end, but I didn't make it. Still I progressed a lot further in it! Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow.

Well, I think I'm going to do some editing tonight, try and get some stuff out of the way. Peace!
