No better way to start of the new year...

...with a hurt foot. Yes, that's right. Yesterday I was getting into the shower before work, and as I was bringing my left foot down, I caught it on the track of the shower door. I sliced off a section of skin about a half an inch wide, a third of an inch across, and about half a centimeter deep. Sure it doesn't sound like much, but try standing on it for 8½ hours with a Band-Aid that keeps rubbing against it! Hurt like a bitch; luckily the managers gave me a stool to sit on when I didn't have any customers in my line.....which was for about a total of 15 minutes through the day.
Well, due to the increased hours that I'm working, I wasn't able to make my deadline for my Excel video. Because of this, I am making a New Years resolution to work harder on my videos! No more slacking on my part. And on that note, I'll end this journal entry. I've got to get back to editing, right? ;^D -

Dude, I've rarely been coming here. Aside from other forums, work and my new video, I've just neglected to visit the org that much. I guess because it's so busy, I like smaller sites where I can keep up with what's happening. Anyhow, I have a funny story from a few days ago. I came into work early in the morning, and this is what happened:
Lillian: G'morning, Brian!
Me: Hey, goodmorning Lillian!
Amy: Hey, Brian, how're you doing?
Me: Alright, how about you?
Christina: Ohayo Gozaimasu.
Me: O_O
Christina: It means "Good morining" in Japanese.
Me: >_< Yes, I knew that. I just wasn't expecting that at 8:30 in the morning.
Christina: That was your formal lesson for today.
Yes, one of my higher-ups is half-Japanese, and is going to help me learn! ^_^ Hell, her mom is Japanese, and I talked with her a bit. I might start taking lessons sometime! ^.^
That's about it for now. My new video, in a sense, is done. I'm just editing some frames in Photoshop in order to clean up a scene. Then I need to add titles and bumpers then export. I hope you all will enjoy watching it as much as I've enjoyed making it. I'm hoping to have it done my Christmas. Peace! -
