  • Looks like I owe you people some money... 2001-12-06 15:38:01 Wow, you guys rule!

    21 hits just after lunch alone, and something like 18 downloads?!

    Now, if I could just pay someone to write an opinion ;)

    I think I'm going to make a banner for the AMV banner contest that says "please write me an opinion" as that seems to be everyone's burning desire around here.

    I don't really know anybody here at AMV.org (but so far this wee journal has gotten 35 hits?), and from what I've seen, that new AMV forum thread seems to be a bunch of people shouting at each other to look at their work, without looking at each other's work.

    Here comes either the flaming of the century or the quiet lonely solitude that comes from mass apathy. I'd rather have the flames, to be honest, since that at least means someone's paying attention. Nothing sucks worse than showing your work to a room full of people, and having them turn around and ignore you.

    This is why I hate the idea of showing my work. But that one time you get the standing ovation; when the crowd *roars* with thunderous applause. It becomes an addiction. You crave the admiration of the audience. People really liked this when I showed it at the FanAm hour at Acen 2k, but who knows what the AMV community will think?

    I *really* have to stop trying to write anything past midnight. Ten bucks says I check in around lunchtime tomorrow and not one of the 14000 people here have hit on the AMV. 
  • So this is a Journal 2001-12-05 16:56:35 I'm not sure if I've got anything to say. For now, I'm just a "member." After Christmas of this year, I hope to be a "creator."
