Thought of the Day:
I really hate it when people with more than enough opinions on a particular video (by my standard, ten) continue to ask for more and more opinions. I mean, I saw a guy on the forums who has 42 opinions on his video and just keeps exchanging for more. Dude... do you REALLY need any more than that??? If you're trying to get on some site list, it should be because you made a good video - not because you forced an average one on a lot of people. : /
And with that... I need to watch more Tsubasa.

One hundred eightieth entry - slow, slow, slow!

Time - 7:16, Noise - Day of Fire - "Through the Fire"
Things are still going very, very slow... but the reason is determined this time. I'm "acquiring" the next few episodes of Tsubasa, which always makes my computer run slower.
In addition, since I finally finished downloading the Local Tsubasa videos via the super search (200 some videos, not including multi-anime videos or ones that combined it with Cardcaptor Sakura - JUST Tsubasa). I found a few faulty entries along the way - two project files that had been uploaded, and one person who made another entry to slip an Evanescence video under the radar. I reported them, naturally.
I just started doing my super search thing with Yami no Matsuei now - excuse me... "Descendants of Darkness." I know that I've already downloaded a lot of the YnM videos on the site, so this should go quicker, even though there are more results to sift through (335, as opposed to Tsubasa's 253.) However, if I possess any virtues at all, patience is certainly one of them. I'm willing to go through the crap so that when someone says "are there any good videos to such-and-such anime?", I can say, "YES. Yes, there are, my friend."
I don't know what anime I'll do my searching with next. Maybe Gravitation, since it's my favorite anime and it's been a while since I've looked for AMVs for it.

And this hour has passed by like molasses. Even my downloads seem slow. Hmm...
I'm not bored, really. It just feels like I'm doing a lot of waiting. I guess I could try to work with Photoshop for a while...

Time - 11:37, Noise - Story of the Year - "Dive Right In"
I'm not sure why... but I'm having a REALLY off night. About twenty minutes ago, everything suddenly stopped making sense. It's like... whatever was said to me, my brain just couldn't wrap around it. Nonsensical, FTW.
Maybe it's all of these Tsubasa videos. They're rotting my brain slowly. Although, I did manage to find a few that were good.
I'm definitely not okay right now. Not in the angsty sense, either. More like... complete and utter confusion, with just a touch of apprehension.
So... I'm going to leave now. Remove myself from this site for the night. Maybe things will make more sense in the morning. Or less. I'm not sure.

One hundred seventy seventh entry - happy birthday, Brandy!

Wishing my big sis a happy 24th birthday... here's to you, BD!
Of course, she's not a site member, so she won't read that, but oh well. The point is that my thoughts are with her today, even though she's quite a ways away from me.
Lately... I have had the most insane urge to make an anime music video. Like... maybe something to Tsubasa, but I don't really have a song. Just about any corny romance song would work, I suppose, but I don't want just anything. I want the video to be different from all of the others out there.
Man... I don't know how some editors are able to make dozens of videos to one particular anime. In most cases, I have troubles coming up with just ONE good song for the anime of my choice. The only anime that I've ever been able to come up with a lot (like, five or more) really good ideas for was X. Even stranger is that most of those ideas are to Nine Inch Nails music.
However, there are a number of anime that I've seen that I have never thought of an AMV idea for. Hellsing, for example. It was an okay anime, but I just never got an idea for it.
Yergh... I need to DO something. I'm seriously thinking about scrapping the project I'm working on and starting a new one. I just hate the idea of leaving an AMV half-finished - and it IS literally just about half-finished. Like I said before, I have a good idea for a Parasite Eve video, but I would just feel like a prude doing the idea after sayde did such a good job on it. Trouble is, that was pretty much the ONLY good PE idea I had.
For now, I think I'm just going to watch some more Tsubasa videos. Maybe I'll edit later. Maybe.
