Three hundred twenty first entry - I walk like a drunkard. No, really.

So srsly. I walk like I'm drunk. It's a habit that gets worse by the year, even going as far as me frequently running into walls and objects. It's quite odd. So, if you ever see me, I'm the deadpan girl with the teetering-tottering stride.
I was gonna share a picture of me and Nicole cosplaying for ACen, but I'm smiling crooked. Like, *really* crooked. And it's bugging the hell out of me. Another thing about me: my sideways smile. I don't laugh or smile much (not for a lack of a good mood, but simply because that's not the kind of person I am), so what little I do is translated by just a small upturn of one side of the mouth. A smirk, some would call it, but on me it just looks more like a crooked smile.
'Let the World Crash' (THE Video) seems to be doing well. Star ratings started low, but they've climbed back up to a little above my normal average. I figure they'll probably even out in a month or so. Got four quick comments - three positive, one a pun (a play on words, to be exact). No opinions yet, but it's only been a day, and not even a full one at that. I wouldn't expect that for a while yet. Forum comments are very encouraging, and it looks like I'm moving in the right direction. (Now to edit FMV and throw myself out of my musical comfort zone~!)
I deleted the Saikano clips today. Welcome back, eighteen gigs of HD space. I've missed you terribly. I could get more if I started deleting some of the many lossless versions of the video, but I was waiting a little while to see what people had to say regarding the technical side. I know I asked for no critiquing of the video quality, but if there was a major issue, I figured it would show up in some comment. But I think I'm gonna delete the other versions and just keep the one that I rendered my XviD from.
So, what I have on my plate now is three MEPs. First, FMV. Then, the Clow MEP. Lastly, the pseduo-yaoi MEP. I can start cleaning up and rendering some clips for the Clow project now that I have some space free, but I think I need to watch (or at least skim) the first season again. I'm gonna be a little smarter about rendering this time. I don't need to render the whole episode as lossless and then pick clips. I can just pick clips right off the bat, and that will save HD space.
Blargh. I need to pack my room up (again). I'll be going home for the summer tomorrow. I suppose I'll be a bit unreachable for that time, but I don't foresee any difficulties.

I made an acceptable XviD version of THE Video, and I entered the video information as well. However, it all gets to sit there until I figure out how the hell to do an h.264 encode. The XviD is just for anyone who asks for it. I'm not gonna bother with another link for it, since I don't have any hosting of my own (and I'd rather not use temporary storage for a permanent video). I'll just jot it down in the video profile that if anyone wants the XviD, contact me. A lot of people will just skip over that and bitch about not being able to play the h.264, of course, but that will be their problem for not reading the description. I'm not worrying about that.
Decided I don't really care about tweaking THE Video anymore, hence the XviD. I appreciate the thoughts everyone gave me, and I really did try to incorporate them, but I can't force myself to continue trying to fix a video with subpar source footage. It's just no fun to work with anymore. More than anything, I just want to get rid of the clips already and start on a new project.
Spanish Civilization final is tomorrow. Honest to Cod, I think I'm going to fail it. And that's really not cool. Spanish is my major. : /
Math test needs to be made up tomorrow as well. If my teacher will be in her damn office during her office hours, that is. She wasn't today.
Sociology final is also tomorrow. I did even worse on the last test, despite actually opening up my book and doing the readings this time around. I have no idea how I'm going to do on the final, but I'm worried.
Got my schedule corrected finally, so now I can successfully take Japanese and Spanish at the same time. This should be fun. My schedule doesn't look murderous exactly, because I have Friday off (assuming I pass my math class with a high enough grade), but it's still a bit trying. The classes more than the times.
Posted in the FMV thread regarding betas. I'd love to see a video from everyone, but I doubt I'll get that. As long as everyone can prove they're still alive, though, I'm okay.
Still don't really feel like talking about ACen. The good OR the bad. I'm just not enthused lately. I'd love to say, "When finals are over, I'll be fine," like most other folks do, but I won't be.
Shoot. I was going to post a picture of my best friend and me cosplaying. And my crooked smile. : / Maybe next time.

Back from ACen. Not really tired, but I need to take a test at some point tomorrow. I haven't studied. I don't know if I'll pass.
Saw some terrific AMVs for the contest. Wish I had downloaded most of them beforehand (for the ones that were available).
Aerialesque beat me in Romance. It's good, because she deserved it. I'm just happy mine played. To whomever had the last say on what videos were entered for competition, thank you for picking mine. You have no idea how relieved I was to see the title card for THE Video show up on that projector screen.
Didn't do the main thing I wanted to do, but I'm really depressed right now, so I don't want to go into it.
Hope everyone enjoyed ACen. Generally speaking, it was a blast for me. Can't wait 'til next year.
