Eighteenth Entry - Fuck'd!

Time - 1:51, Noise - Goldfinger - "99 Red Balloons"
My FTP is totally fubared. I can't upload a video at all for some reason, no matter how I go at it. I posted in the forums, but didn't get a response. Cheap bastards. I really want to upload my friend's video - to her own account, of course - but it's not working. Fuck-diddly-uck, as Flanders might say, if he spoke in vulgarities.
I'm in a really antisocial mood right now. I thought it was boredom, but it's more like "just leave me the hell alone."
I'm a pirate. Did you know that?
Yarr...
*sigh*

I'm several posts down, but I included your video in a list of what I considered to be the best Japanese game videos...which so far only constitutes Square games.
That recipe sounds good.

Sixteenth Entry - I love Sammy

Time - 8:26, Noise - Within Temptation - "See Who I Am"
I noticed that I made Sammy's hate list, because I'm a forum whore.
I find this mildly amusing. I respect the guy, put "Excalibur" in the Recommendations forum (and proved his point, I suppose), love his journal entries, and I think that he makes great music videos. Yet, I made his hate list.
Oh well. I like you anyway, Sammy. Flame on, mate. ^_^

Fifteenth Entry - Opinion Madness

Time - 11:48, Noise - April Sixth - "Dear Angel"
I am having the worst time getting motivation to do another music video. I have tons of ideas floating about in my head and all of the footage to do it. I just don't want to do anything.
On the other hand, I have been getting in tons of valuable gaming time. Devil May Cry 3 has eaten up around 74 hours of my life so far. I'm just doing it for fun now, though. Super Dante + Quicksilver + Dante Must Die! Mode = tons of fun. I did that combo in Normal Mode first - it was really easy. So, I tried it on Hard. Again, very easy. So, now I'm doing DMD Mode. I'm still not having issues. Permanent Quicksilver makes it all insanely simple.
Speaking of DMC3...I've wanted to do lots of videos to it, but now it seems like I'm never going to get my DVD drive. My brother promised me one, but he hasn't gotten one yet. It isn't something my mom wants to get either. She's one of those people who won't buy something if she can't see the use of it. She'll get me anime and manga, because it's something she can enjoy too. She won't get me a DVD drive, because she doesn't understand my video making hobby. Of course, everyone just says "why don't you get a job and buy it yourself?". Simple. I'm going to college in less than two months. What is the point of getting a job now? I'll just have to quit it soon anyway.
So, there's my dilemma in a nutshell.
As for Opinion Madness...I started up a 50th Opinion Celebration - free opinion thread - recently. I blazed through the first ten or so video submitted to me, but now I've just lost interest. Still, I'm giving myself a few days to cool down and then I'm going to go back at it. Hopefully, I'll get interested again. I'm closing the thread on Monday (the 18th of July);
I just can't take on any more videos. I'm already backlogged because I can only do one or two opinions a day. They average around 1000 words and take an hour or two to do, so I don't like doing them several in a row. It gives me a headache.
That's part of the reason why I've stopped temporarily as well. I have been feeling like absolute crap physically lately. Ugh.
Well, it's lunchtime and I have Cowboy Bebop to watch - for the first time. I know. I'm out of the loop... ~_~
Too. Hot. Stupid summer.

Fourteenth Entry - "Drive another nail down..."

Time - 7:41, Noise - A Perfect Circle - "Gravity"
Blah. My internet's being stupid lately. It just randomly crashes. Also, I keep having videos just NOT finish downloading. I can't figure out why precisely, but I assume it has something to do with amv.org's recent renovations that they say are going on.
I feel strange lately. I've been spending quite a bit of my time on my computer in the last few months. I only have one online friend, but I seem to be getting involved with everyone I meet here. Moreover, I don't really feel like a n00b anymore, though I'm positive that that's still the case. I know that I'm still very green around the edges, but I'm slowly learning. The only thing I still fear is that I'll say something stupid accidentally to someone who really knows what's going on...like Corran...or ErMaC...or...God forbid, Phade himself. I don't want people to flame me just because I'm not the brightest with using computers. I know I ask some dumb questions, but I always try to search them out first. The big problem with this is that even when I do find the answer to my question, it's all in Greek. Computer geeks speak a whole different language from me and that almost scares me. Then, I don't want to post in a forum asking for clarification because I know I'll just get a link to Google or something.
I feel kind of bad. Now that I've been a part of this site long enough, I usually notice 'illegal' requests in the forums when I see them. So, when some newbie makes a post of this nature, I have to beat them down with the "experienced person" stick. Some of them take these as flames and then I have to explain that I'm not being mean - just truthful. Half of the time, though, if I catch someone asking where to download anime episodes and I post the part of the forum rules that says you'll get banned for asking for that stuff, the people quiet instantly. I swear. The only forum newbies should be able to view or post on for the first two weeks should be the "Forum Rules" forum. Of course, that still probably wouldn't help much. Newbies are damn persistent creatures. I know. I psuedo-am one. *sigh*
My hands are cold. Just thought you'd like to know that.
Hey, I finally hit the "Opinion Exchange" forums. So, now I have a little feedback on my latest video. People seem to generally like it. Mostly they think it needs better quality footage, which WILL happen once I get my DVD drive. I own all of the games that I take footage from, so getting the source won't be a problem - just learning how to rip. If I can get a few more opinions on that video, then I'll probably drop that thread and start a new one - same conditions, different video pimping.
I should stop now. I gotta warm my hands up before they fall off from indoor frostbite. Eeegh. v_v
