Help! I'm stuck in the middle land of AMV creator-ness. I get e-mails atleast a few a week that people want to download/see my videos. The problem with this is that they always mention a specific video but this video changes from person to person. Each person raves about how good, how much they enjoyed the specific video. This sort of tells me the video is good, which tells me I have several videos that fall into this category, but no one seems to figure out that I made other/multiple good videos.
I think I've been rather constent with my videos. Not everyone will like them, but each is rather decent and does/can appeal to a group of people, and people can look at the video and see how a specific group would like the video. Even my very first video has pretty good timing.

I have not have any drive to write reviews any more. I also don't feel like making/handing out CDs any more either. But I will continue to do so, just because I'm optimistic that I will eventually get more reviews.
Well the gaming convention is coming up, and the anime room there should be fun. I have Long Beach Ren. Faire this weekend. For anyone who is going, I'll be the noble in the pink dress.

CSS is done. Well I have to still render it out of Premier but it's done. I'm happy with how it turned out. Very happy actually. It was alot of fun to work on, but after awhile with the intense images I would have to stop and do something else, but I really focused as much as I could and did do almost all of the video in the span of one weekend. I don't recommend this video editing method but it works for me. I get twice if not three times as much work done in a 4 hours block of time then 4 1 hour blocks.
There is two problems with the video. One due to it being extreme Yaoi, it will not be hosted anywhere, has a limited amount of conventions it can be sent to, and even less who will want to see it.
The second problem is I don't know what category to put it into for Yaoi-con. It's not really a drama or an action. It's mainly beats with imagery. It's more a dance video, but does have some storyline to it. However it doesn't work on making you feel an emotion and thus really isn't a drama. It also isn't action, and doesn't have action in it, other then sex, which I guess could count as action. I just don't know.

Suichi's Question Vr. 2 is done! Yeah! It's not very different from Vr.1. I should have put alot more 'Yaoi' into it, but I like it how it is. It's just fun. It think it's now funnier. Or so I can hope. Besides my 'extreme' Yaoi video CSS is now in the works. It was about 9pm when I finished Suichi's Question Vr. 2 and I told myself I should go to bed, instead of working on the new vid. (I work really early in the morning). But did I listen to myself...no. I ended up staying up till 11pm working on CSS. <sigh> The original version I made and trashed seem to be better then this one. The lipsynching just isn't as good this time. Yet it's synched more. It just doesn't look the same. I'm sure I'll be happy when I get to the hard core goodness that is the video.
I don't know if I should thank or kill my little sister. See I had to drive her car for about two months because my car...was totalled and I needed to buy a new one. While driving her car I listened to the music in the car. Which from her music I found about 5 different AMV ideas. Which have been added to my list of projects, that I may one day make. The nice thing about the music is that it's not main stream music. It has really good beats and really fun. My sister just has very good taste in music. She was a dj for her college.
I currently have 17 ideas sitting on my list and two redos. Eventually I'll have 0 ideas left on the list, and then I can stop making AMVs. But I keep getting new ones. -

I found a place that offers 50 megs of free hosting, along with unlimited bandwidth. So I figured I would try it and see how 'unlimited' their bandwidth is. So I may be able to slowly have my videos on-line. I'll be only hosting one video at a time, but plan on rotating the videos about once a week. I'm realizing that one problem I may have is that I won't be able to put up certain videos due to content. I don't want my hosting cancelled as soon as I put it up. Which is still likely to happen...
However the following videos may have problems:
Who's That Girl - Well I don't have a copy of this any where, so I obviouslly can't host it.
Adore Me! - It's Yaoi... it has naked men with naked men in it. I don't think they will let me host it.
Suichi's Question vr.1 & vr.2- I'll try and host this one, but the problem is still in the male nudity. Vr.2 will in no way be shown. It doesn't have that much more nudity, but it has enough.
CSS - My new project will never be hosted due to the male/male nudity.
So even when I get hosting working, there will be videos that people will still have problems getting.
