VirtualDub rocks... That is all. It solves my problem with premier crashing every time I try to use XviD compression. I can just use HuffYUV, and then run it through VD and convert it to XviD. It is a little extra work, but so what. I am sure VD is useful for tons of things that I don't use it for, but I am sure I will get around to it.

As a side note, I am rather fond of DVD Decrypter, DVD2AVI, AVISynth, and VirtualDub.

						Yureka! Or, something like that...

After a couple of hours of reading, and re-reading the How-To manuals pertaining to Premier and AVISynth, I finally understand it! I can be a little slow on the uptake about some things, and that was one of them.

This makes editing much easier in my opinion. It cuts out lots of intermediary steps I was previous using. Either converting a DVD into XviD (HuffYUV files were too big for me to use) or selecting individual clips and converting them to HuffyUV. Now I can get all the DVD quality, with half the calories!

I have grown weary with Sony Screenblaster movie studio. I have begun making an honest effort to understanding Premier. I think I am starting to get it. Much more powerful and useful that Movie Studio. My next video will use Premier instead. I always shied away from Premier because it was too intimidating, and always seemed to crash on me. I figured out what will crash the software, and what will not (so far) so I can avoid doing those things (like previewing in XViD).

In other news, it seems like my latest video as so far hasn't been well received. I thought this one was the best of my videos so far, but, from my star rating, I would never guess. I suppose the only thing I can do is endeavor to do a better job on my next video. Live and learn...

						Finally!

I finished my Tenchi video and uploaded here on OMV.org. I think I will take some time off before starting work on my Kenshin video.

Work Continues on my Tenchi Video

I am about half way done now. Though, I keep going back and scrutinizing the timing on some of the scenes. If I keep this up, I will never finish. This without a doubt will be my best video yet. I even started learning After Effects so I could add small, but interesting effects to the video.

Once I finish with this video, I will return to my work on "Feur Frei" Kenshi video. It was my first video and it sucks horribly. Now that I have learned a few things via watching videos other people did, and through alot of trial and error, I think I can do a better job this time around. Once I finish the Kenshin video, I should return to my Remember video. I spent too much time on it NOT to finish it.
