  • we're not scaremongering...this is really happening... 2001-11-02 09:53:39 Okay EK, I actually remembered your package today and it's IN my goddamn car! So...unless the other, smaller post office (the one nowhere near the airport) is closed, you should be getting it some time early next week.

    It's gonna be a long-ass day at work. A lot of frustrating work to do, plus I'm looking forward to the weekend...lots of relaxing and working on my video (not at the same time, of course ^_-).

    Oh yeah, download Silent Hill! And review it.

    Fucking cell phone company. They added some random charges to my bill, and I told them to remove them...they did, but for some reason that means I can't view my usage this month. I'm probably already $30 over my daytime minutes limit now.

    Leandra has been admonishing me for constantly coughing and sniffling, because I refuse to turn on the heat. Not until I see frost on the edges of my computer monitor, that is :)

    Also...I've cut back big time on smoking. But when I do light up...I lost my lighter, and I'm too cheap to spend 75 cents on a new one...so I've been lighting up using my gas stove. Is there any possible way to get more ghetto?

    I thought maybe the post office would be open by now, so I went today to mail something to EK. So I drove there...and I see the freaking place surrounded by news crews! I didn't even slow down, just kept on driving.

    If we continue to bomb through Ramadan, we're fucked. Completely and absolutely fucked. But Bush has no need to worry, because no matter what he will always have Air Force One, and it can fly anywhere and keep him safe.

I was working on my new video in Premiere, and all my clips, transitions, etc., were doing exactly what I wanted to, without any Premiere-ness getting in the way. There was a very surreal feeling of "melting" into familiarity with the program...okay, that sounds weird, but I don't know exactly how to describe the sensation in words.

    Hmm. I really did have this dream :Þ I'm not trying to be a sarcastic ass here.

But no, right after I get a transfer to another department (starting Monday), my supervisor asks me to do one last thing, and this one last thing is positively plagued with problems. So I've got two days to wrap this up, and I'm probably going to have to stay late both nights to get it done (IF I can get it done, even that's looking sketchy at this point).

    Goddamnit.
