Spent an evening w/ an ex and some of her church friends (gah). I wanted to claw my eyes out. Nothing unpleasant, just complete and utter boredom. Like I want to spend 2 hours hearing about the "crazy" antics people have been pulling at their church. Kathy stopped going to church 3 years ago, dunno why she still hangs out w/ these people.
I've been unable to leave the house for the past 5 days because my little cousins were here and wanted me to play w/ them. It's scary how little kids can completely innocently annoy the piss out of you. They love videogames, so all they want to do is sit around all day playing PS2...which I guess isn't so bad, because FFX is completely consuming me. Even my dad was getting into it.
Brother got me Grand Theft Auto 3 for Xmas. Talk about a FUCKED UP game. Here's a completely typical gaming session:
Mafia guy hires me to take out some guy. So I crash my car into his and run him off the road. He and his cronie step out of the car, and I blow them away with a shotgun (which I stole from a cop). Then I steal their car and their uzi. I walk around the streets, and completely on a whim, I beat a jogger to death with a baseball bat in broad daylight on a crowded city street. A cop witnesses this, so he tries to arrest me, but I mow him down with the uzi. Then I steal the cop's car and drive around running down pedestrians for fun.
Fun fun. Stress relief with a capital Z. My uncle caught my cousins playing it and made them put in some cheesy Star Wars game instead. -
