JOURNAL: Castor Troy (Ryan Molina)

  • A normal life? 2003-12-22 21:10:32 I tend to think about how life would be if I stopped doing amvs, like a "I feel complete and now it's time to move on" thing. It would be nice not to worry about things like forcing myself to always do a video for cons every year, worrying about computer problems, premiere problems and many other things.

It would also be nice to catch up on the various video games I still need to play, movies and anime I still need to watch, friends and family I need to spend time with instead of telling myself to work on a video before the deadline for a con. Just to be a normal amv watcher again not having to worry if my video made the finals or trying to see how that certain effect is done.... would be nice for once..

Deep inside I yearn to be free from it all but it's not that time yet.

I've thought about retiring a few times but something awesome ALWAYS comes up to bring me back. I've never told anyone this but I originally wanted to retire after my 50th video, The Haunted Ship because 50 was such a nice number and I felt personal things in real life that I needed to devote more time to, but many things came up like the NES Project, Akon, the word of the NES Project from AWA, plus things in real life were getting better because I ended up working harder than before. Now with things only going upward, why did I bring this all up?

A close friend of mine, who alot of you know has decided to retire from amvs to pursue more important things in life. I definitely wish him the best of luck because what he's shooting for will be great for him in the future.

As for me, I still see many great years of amv creation to come. I'm having too much fun with it to stop and I hope others will continue to enjoy this hobby as well.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone! :)
  • Return of the King is the best movie evar! 2003-12-21 03:04:52 The girl next to me was coughing like mad and her boyfriend fell asleep and was snoring kinda loud.

The people in the back of me were annoying.

Half the theater's cell phones kept going off even after the warnings the theater plays.

One person shouted "YOU'RE ALL GEEKS" when the title screen came up.

I stepped on gum on the way out.

But it was still a damn great movie :)
  • Man, I feel like I can take on 10 Vegetas! 2003-12-10 20:58:23 "she got BIG titties and she's inviting me to her party!"

I just love the stuff I hear during weight training.

Now to find out where this party is..... :)

Be careful Pie Row, your cell phone could be next!
  • Ok, I gave in. 2003-12-01 00:21:06 I decided to get Mario Kart: Double Dash and Final Fantasy X-2 because I didn't have to wait in those long preorder lines *Horrid memories of trying to get FFX 2 years ago come back - (Head over to my Dec 2001 journal entries to see)*

Mario Kart's fun but doesn't last long enough for single player, but I'll usually have people coming over and I got 4 controllers so it was worth it.

FFX-2: Final Fantasy Charlie's Angels :P Neat intro scene though :O

Will these hinder any of my amv work? Not in the slightest! *whistles*
  • Happy Thanksgiving! 2003-11-26 12:34:05 I called the witch doctor, he told me what to do..

    He said..

Oooh Eeee oooh aaah aaah Ching Chang walla walla bing bang!

That means play Dr. Mario for the gameboy or your NES.

Ching Chang walla walla bing bang!

I beat the witch doctor and this is what he said...

    He said..

Oooh Eeee oooh aaah aaah Ching Chang walla walla bing bang!

    Oooh Eeee oooh aaah aaah!

and then he shrunk my head.
