My sister enjoyed Goldenboy more than I thought.... she even took the 2nd volume from my room while I wasn't home and finished it... hahahaha... But she still likes Chobits better and she didn't understand any of FLCL. I'm sure she'll be surprising her boyfriend with her new found anime knowledge now that she's actually finished one entire anime series :)
I'm all prepared and good to go for the NES Project panel at AX2004. I even went out and bought an appropiate shirt for it... hehe...
Can't wait to see everyone at the dinner tommorow! -

Anime Expo is coming this week and I'll be hosting the NES Project 2003 panel there.... I have the project on dvd all ready to show and I've been practicing my announcement speech for it. Public speaking isn't exactly one of my strong points and I don't really have a celebrity type voice like Brad Demoss, but I'm so excited to host the panel that I probably shouldn't worry about it.
My sister is also coming to AX because her boyfriend and their friends are heavily into anime, even more than I... so I lent her the first volumes of Chobits, FLCL, and..... Goldenboy (haha) to watch. This should be interesting... since my sister will probably convince her boyfriend to buy her anime stuff :P
I doubt I'll be buying much at AX other than a Naruto headband. I haven't really been into anime as much lately. -

I picked it up for both systems today and my thumbs hurt like hell from beating MM1-5..... still got 5 more games to go... and this is just the PS2 version :P

My mom decided to get my dad a $1500 home theater system for Father's day...... I went with my family to the presentation of it and it blows my crappy 5.1 system away!
I can't wait to watch the NES Project dvd on this :O -

One of the weird things about working part time at a hospital pushing patients around in wheelchairs all day is the stories they tell you.
I was pushing around a middle aged man today and he told me that I would go well together with his daughter who's around my age. He showed me a picture of her and she looked pretty damn hot o_o... the sad thing is that she's on the run from the law/IRS/collection agency for massive credit card debt.
Not too long ago she acquired her first credit card and did obvious shopping and maintained pretty decent credit. She was unemployed and always depended on her parents to pay the bill. When her credit limit was becoming higher and more established, she began abusing the card and was buying things like mad. The worst part of it is that for months she hid all of the details from her parents and when they found out, it was beyond too late.
She was thousands of dollars in debt and ran away from home before the repo men and collection agency made their way to her house. Her father offered to pay off the bill month by month but the collection agency wanted the thousands of dollars.... the next day..
It's been a month or 2 since anyone's heard from her and chances are she's already flown the coop out of this country. Her father is suffering from quite a bit of stress from it all and has been having body problems. I was being really nice to him so I assume he felt comfortable telling me his story. I really have no business or place to say anything but all I can wish is the best for him and his daughter.
Man, another hawt woman someone wants to hook me up with and she has to be a felon.... :/
