Thank god I decided to stop undertaking huge amv projects (Dragon Bebop Z and Haunted Ship esque...) since real life has been kicking my ass ever since school began. I doubled up and finished another track for Project Doomrider and had alot of fun working on it plus I finished it in 3 days. I can't wait to see the beta premiere at AWA :)
I now present to you, the greatest Mortal Kombat BGM EVAR.

Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 - Gamecube
I've heard many great things about this game and I've been itching for a new multiplayer GC game for a while now. Now my waiting has finally come to an end with Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 :)
Simply put, this is one of the most fun fighting games I have ever played. The cell shaded graphics are great, the action is fast paced, and the gameplay is tons of fun. The game operates like a really souped up DBZ Budokai and improves on everything that was wrong with DBZ Budokai. In short, this is how DBZ Budokai should have been done, with fast paced action and no sluggish back movement.
While I haven't gotten that far in the series, it takes place from the start of the series to the Chuunin exam. You can play the story mode and the events are just like the anime.
My only gripes with the game are..
- The damage level is too high even on the lowest damage settings. The matches kinda last a bit too quickly if one side is getting the upper hand. Plus the specials do WAY too much damage. Kakashi's lightning edge nearly takes off half the opponent's life. While this is good for going through the fights quickly to earn money in the game, this is bad especially when the opponents get harder.
- The kana/gana on the menu select is written too wacky. It took me a little while to dechiper what the modes even were. Thankfully the kana/gana is written more straight when you actually select the modes.
- If your opponent gets behind you, you have to turn to face him manually. This is a big problem when you're unleashing a flurry of punches and your opponent teleports or jumps behind you. You won't be able to turn towards your opponent until the flurry of punches is over leaving you wide open for attack.
Other than those flaws, the game is rock solid.
My rating - 9/10
I even recommend the game to people who haven't seen the anime yet. It's just a fun game to play. :)
Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 is coming out this Dec so I better catch up on my Naruto watching soon!

I just started rewatching Naruto... I'm on episode 26 now, yeah, I know I'm behind but I want to take my time and enjoy this show at my own pace so no Narutards better give me any crap about it >:O
I started watching Naruto again since I heard many good things about Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 for the Gamecube and I felt that I needed to catch up. I get paid this week so I'm probably gonna pick up on thursday along with a freeloader at japan video games (japanvideogames.com) which is 20 min away from my house.
Sadly none of the other computers in my house can run Doom 3 since I wanted to throw a LAN party this weekend before my final semester at junior college begins so I hope my friends bring over their own comps but I think they'll be more interested in Naruto 2 :P
This purchase will set me back a bit and I still need to know if most of the La Familia will be heading to the AWA Pizza dinner so I can put aside some cash for that...... and possibly a haircut.
