  • ..... 2004-12-11 09:38:51 I really don't post anything personal in my journal that much but I just experienced the worst family tradgedy in my life. It is something that absolutely nobody should go through, even my worst enemy. I have feelings of sadness and anger right now....

    Everyone, please cherish your loved ones, friends and family. Please always keep them safe.

    I hope everyone here has a safe christmas.

    I won't be running away or retiring and I will do my VG3 stuff and the rest of the videos I plan to do for next year but right now I have no idea how I'm going to deal with this. It's only going to hurt more as time goes on..

  • Christmas shopping. 2004-12-05 00:41:00 Bought some awesome presents for people today... almost makes me wanna keep them for myself :P

    Plus I got my tickets for ushicon. Merry christmas to me! :)

    All videos enhanced for dolby 5.1 surround sound. Some tracks will take better advantage of it than others :)

    Unlike the NES dvds, you can skip through the videos this time.

    If you are one of the 16 other editors from the RVG Project, email me at vegetainsane@hotmail.com or pm me with your address and I'll ship out your RVG dvd to you free of charge. The dvds come with a case, cover, insert, etc..... all I need to do is shrinkwrap them and they'll be complete.... haha :P

    If you've seen the beta dvd at AWA, there have been massive changes to it.

    As much as I would like to give the dvds out to people who are willing to cover shipping and materials.... sorry, I can't do that this time. I recently got a new expensive printer that prints super awesomely godly, but the catch is the thing eats up ink really fast and the cartridges are not cheap... I only got enough cartridges to supply the editors as of this moment. No, I don't want deal with SASE or sharpie copies either.

    But don't fret, We will be distributing the RVG dvds once again at AWA11 so by next sept, we will be taking preorders once again.

    I will begin the first round of DVD shipments starting next week or later. You should recieve them way before christmas and new years if you give me your info now. I still need to get my suppplies in the mail so it'll take some time. Make sure you have a dvd player that can play burned dvds. Any player manufactured after 2001 should do.

    Editors: Make sure you get me your mailing addresses so I can get your RVG dvds sent out ASAP. Let me know what you think of the dvds and I hope they make good christmas presents! :) 
  • A job well done! 2004-11-29 17:03:54 I recently finished the professional video project for my client recently. It was pretty much "take this vhs footage and make a dvd out of it" thing. I had never watched so many movies about glue and adhesive products in my life. The client was exremely pleased with it.... a little more than he should have been... haha... and wrote me a nice big check even bigger that what he orignally offered. Not sure if I'll get another gig soon but this money should compensate for all the materials I had to get and will even fund presents this year :)

    I should really thank the word of mouth parents give to their co-workers as it spreads and spreads and lands you an opportunity. Pinnicale capture cards still kick ass.

    Big announcement in 2 days! Now I have the money to pay for it!
