  • Sub0.. and the subject of harsh opinions 2005-10-14 23:43:21 Carlos (Machine) is a good guy and he does take his work very seriously since he wants to be a filmmaker which does make him very sensitive of his work. After seeing alot of his short films and his first feature length movie, I don't blame him. I'm not saying you're wrong for criticizing him (criticism is actually very important for the line of work he's doing). Just trying to tell you where he's coming from and why he acts the way he does.

    It's human nature to take a harsh opinion to heart but some people let get to them more than others. I won't lie and I admit I get a bit hurt sometimes from a harsh opinion but then I realize when my video leaves the privacy of my own comp to the hands of an audience, there's nothing else I can do. I can try to defend myself for hours on end but a person's opinion is his or her own. It's not the end of the world if someone gives out a harsh opinion. I've recieved quite alot and while I do admit they can hurt from time to time, I tend to let it go an hour later or so. It's just a hobby.

    Now only if people actually gave more constructive criticism around here. Although there are a few people who can make others cry with theirs x_X

    I can't believe Kingdom Hearts 2 was delayed till next spring along with FFXII so that makes 2 rpgs I have to get during the time I should be editing. x_x

    I can afford all of them now but I still need to save up cash to upgrade my computer.

    I should go back to editing the current video I'm working on... even though it's turning out terrible.
