  • ARGH. 2001-11-27 23:33:04 My friend with the 100mps line said he cannot host my videos since I'd be eating his bandwidth. Although another friend of mine is letting me have 500 megs on his server but I have no idea how fast his server will be. If his host won't let him host my vids...

    I AM SCREWED.
  • Videos going offline in a few days/week. 2001-11-26 01:38:59 The 3 videos I have here will be going offline pretty soon so download them while you can even though the server they're on is pretty slow. I'm on a cable connection and only got 3kps off it. I will be moving the videos to a faster server pretty soon (100MPS LINE!!!) so stay tuned for that.
  • DEEBEEZEE BARKODE BATTLER!!! 2001-11-25 00:57:49 Ok, I was out with my family at my favorite Japanese Marketplace and bought the super mondo ultra mega cool DBZ BARCODE BATTLER for Famicom. Unfortunately I do not own a famicom but hopefully I can get a top loading NES with a converter soon. Here's the the url where you can read all about this game...

I've heard many bad and good reviews about it and also heard that it gets pretty addictive. I hope this is worth the large hole it has put in my wallet.

I have finally beaten Rogue Squadron 2 for the Gamecube after many frustrating nights. With that out of the way, I can get to work on my super blah blah whatever AMV project for the week. But then SUPER SMASH BROS MELEE comes out in LESS THAN 2 weeks. So I'll probably end up taking ANOTHER break from the project. This has truly been a great time for videogames.

    XBOX SUCKS
  • Gunsmith Cats reruns? 2001-11-19 18:45:12 Why did Action Channel just show the same 3 episodes of Gunsmith Cats they aired 2 weeks ago?

Might as well get myself a dvd of it...

    *checks wallet*

Dammit.... the Gamecube wiped me out.
  • I'm back! 2001-11-18 16:48:44 Well, I'm back. I took a week and a half off the internet because I felt that I need to get away from everything. I actually did some pretty cool things like going to Disneyland on a school day with no people around. I got to go on certain rides like 5 times in a row :D

I also went to a few of those botannical garden places I would always see on my way to work. I actually have a thing for nature and stuff o_O I used to go to these places alot as a kid and get bored but now I really appreaciate them alot more.

I finally got a cable modem installed in my house after a long 5 years on a 33k modem. Man, does it feel great to finally download pr0n...errr... stuff in a few minutes ^_^. My AMV collection is now twice as big and I probably have all the current vids from Maboroshi Studio now... hehe... If this keeps up, I'm gonna have to buy more cdrs...

During my time offline, I've also been working on my secret yadda yadda whatever blah blah blah amv project like everyone else. So far over these past 2 weeks I've done about.....umm....err... 50 seconds of it! Well, it'll be around 35-45 seconds once I trim and time the parts. Man, this thing is making me lose many nights of sleep..... That's how difficult it's been.... Thankfully now I've learned enough of After Effects and it's been a real help in the making of this video. After Effects has made it easier for me to edit so I won't have to switch between premiere and photoshop which are HUGE RAM eaters that slow my comp down to a crawl. I've been working around 6-8 hours a day on this thing on and off. I should get this done in a few months in time for the spring cons. I'm definitely not gonna make the same mistakes I did in my AX submission (Title and credits bumpers...fansubs quality with letterbox...ugh). I'm starting EARLY ahead of time unlike learning about the beginning of May deadline in the middle of April.... I hope this turns out well.

I decided to return today to the living internet because now I am the proud owner of a Nintendo Gamecube! The experience of getting one was definitely a big story in itself...

I went to bed around 1am and since I was so excited about the GC, I couldn't sleep and got up at 3am. I spent 3 hours on the net, ate breakfast, and then got ready to leave for Toys R us. I put in the Armageddon sountrack (The score) and played the Launch theme on my way. When I arrived at Toys R us at 7am, there was already a line of 40 people waiting for the store to open at 10am. So I sat down near the wall and took out my DB Daizenshuu 7 and started reading. Once I finished reading, I looked at my watch and noticed it was only...7:40..... I can't believe there were some people who actually camped out in front of Toys R us at 10:30pm the day before. I started talking with some kids and their dads that if we didn't get our GC's, then we would start a riot like when the PS2 was released in Japan. The Toys R us I went to reported that it had around 150-200 units and since I was #40 in line, I was sure I would get one. Some asshole in a truck decided to drive by us and show off his GC which he got from Target and screamed "TARGET!". Of course we wanted this guy dead upon hearing that.... After all the long xbox and riot jokes I made with the kids and their dads, the time seemed to pass pretty quickly as we only had 45 more minutes left to wait until the store opened. Now we began to make some jokes about breaking open the door. 15 minutes later, one of the Toys R us representatives went up to us and began handing out our GC purchase tickets. As soon as I recieved mine, I felt that I was blessed and purified so I held on to it for dear life. We all felt like we wasted alot of time as the lady was finished handing out all of the purchase tickets to all 130 people waiting outside the store, she had around another 50 tickets left.... that means I could have came later and still gotten the system. More time passed and we had around 5 more minutes to wait. These were gonna be the longest 5 minutes of my entire life..... and of everyone else around me. Then 10:00am came.... and the door began to open but since there were so many people outside, they only let around 15 people in. Now I was ready to break down the door to Toys R us and get my GC but then the door opened again and I barged in. As I ran to the counter to present my ticket to the cashier, the cashier said I get a free Micky Mouse doll with my GC so what the hell, I took it. After paying 216 dollars, I walked out of the store with my new Gamecube, a free large Mickey Mouse doll, and a happy expression on my face that I could not hide. I drove home really fast around 120mph. Thankfully there were no cops or I would have been playing my GC in jail. I got home, plugged the system into my TV and speaker system, got out Rouge Squadron 2 which I got on tuesday and began playing away.....

Rouge Squadron 2 sounds so ****in incredible! I turned up the volume too loud and was afraid that I would blow up my house. Getting the GC was one experience that I enjoyed no matter how long I waited.... I had a pretty good time talking with the kids and their dads about video games in general and am glad I got up very early to recieve possibly one of the greatest gaming systems EVER.

So I probably won't be doing any AMV work until after Thanksgiving. I'll be blasting away imperial ships in Rouge Squadron 2 while my large new Mickey Mouse Doll watches. Maybe I'll update my site later... It's great to be back and this vacation was just what I needed.
