  • Hehe.. 2002-02-17 15:02:35 EK likes how the video looks for far...hehe..

    The video might be playing at Megacon this Friday depending if it made it into the contest or not... I'm pretty nervous... Hope all goes well.

    It's been a week since I've finished the video and damn, it feels good to finally have that heavy burden off me. I've been way less productive after it's completion but I was able to finish 2 English essays in one day o_O

    Maybe in a few weeks I'll begin planning some more video projects. I want to do a Trigun video and a Megaman/Rockman video in the future.

    Anti Castor message board threads say: "Oh no! Castor is going to ruin other animes with his crappy editing skills and stupid japanese music! He pales in comparison to every other creator and can't edit video out of paper bag! Even my dog can edit videos better!"

  • The moment of truth.... 2002-02-12 15:29:18 I sent the CD through overnight delivery and should get there tommorow......

    I'm pretty nervous about this whole thing since it's only my 2nd attempt to get a video shown in the contest. I wish that Megacon was a bit more specific on how the digital submissions were to be encoded at. I'm afraid of the video looking like crap on the big screen, artifacts, and pixelation...etc... I'm afraid if the video resolution is too small or not.. I would have felt way more comfortable sending it on VHS where the quality will be good no matter what screen it's shown on.

    I probably won't be suprised if it doesn't get shown, then I'll know that I didn't encode it properly. If it does get shown, then I hope it doesn't look like crap and that people enjoy it.

  • MEGACON, HERE I COME! 2002-02-12 12:02:56 I finally got the ftp info from Joey Snackpants last night but the ftp seems to keep timing out. So I'll be sending my submission on a CD today.... Let's hope the CD gets there undamaged.... and hopefully the video does well..... or gets shown at all...
