  • Tommorow is another day... 2002-03-14 20:26:46 The place where I bought my Digi Charat DVDs just told me that they shipped them out today. They got my money 7 days ago and I've been expecting it in the mail every day this week. Then I get an email saying they just shipped it... what a surprise. Should get here on monday.

    My computer should be fixed tommorow... I can't stand being on this laggy 200mhz any longer!

    I finally got the stealth in Metal Gear Solid 2 for the Tanker chapter and been having alot of fun...hehe.... I went down into the holds with all the marines when the commander makes his speech and been beating the crap out of the marines while in my stealth suit. Too bad the game lags with all the marines on the ground. There's nothing better than a room full of unconscious marines.... until you get caught.

  • Something different. 2002-03-13 13:04:23 Ok, I'm not gonna talk about my computer problems, battle with the internet, or waiting for my Digi Charat dvds in this entry.

    I got Metal Gear Solid 2 with the case, booklet, and everything used at Blockbuster for $19.99. Damn best game deal I've ever made. I rented this game back in January, beat it, and loved it despite the bad story. I've been meaning to purchase the game for a while but didn't want to spend $49.99 on it. Finally it drops to the most reasonable price ever and now I can spend time getting the dog tags I've missed. Blockbuster is also selling Devil May Cry for $29.99..... might wanna look into that..

    Every journal I've read, everyone seems to be finishing Trigun except me. I stopped getting the dvds for a while after I got the 6th one because I decided to spend money on Digi Charat (Wait, I'm not supposed to talk about that) and various video equipment. I WILL finish Trigun.... I just need to save the money right now....

    I uploaded EvilVegettoZ's Moment of Truth video to VicBond's server for the DBZ music video contest mentioned in the contests and conventions forum. When I logged into the ftp, I only saw one non-fully uploaded video on there. C'mon guys, we need more entries!

  • This.... SUCKS! 2002-03-11 13:07:38 The format didn't work as planned... the computer only scanned 8% before crashing and ended up deleting VERY IMPORTANT windows files needed to at least boot up....

    So I said, no problem, I'll just reinstall windows!

    I put in the boot disk and went to reinstall windows.... then it had to scan my hard drive again and.....froze.... Then it gives me "This hard drive error cannot be repaired and needs to be repaired in order to install windows"

    ....fuck

    I tried everything else and had no luck, so I had no choice but to take it back to the shop where I got it and probably replace the hard drive. The shop is near my dad's work so I asked my dad to take it in.... getting a new hard drive will definitely put a dent in my anime/game/dvd/whatever fund... unless my dad pays for it.

    Another bad thing is that I forgot to de-interlace ONE scene in the Tough Boys video and it looks like complete SHIT on TV... I sent a non-compressed, non-interlaced mpeg to Megacon.... I really need my computer back now....

    I'm typing this from school now, I hope my dad brings home my computer and fixed and ready..

    My Digi charat DVDs should come in anytime this week.... I pray this week is no where near as horrible as last week.
