    About the only good thing to come out of it is that I finished the Ah! My Goddess move/Megaherz vid I've been working on for the past month or so. After debating it for a while I decided not to bother with subtitles for the song -- I was thinking about it since the song is in German, and I did choose it partly for lyrical content, though the "Sing, Halleluja, Sing" part of the chorus comes through fine in English, but the real message of the song, the idea that humans and angels alike ignore god's will and "It's not easy to be God" (I'm agnostic, but I find that stuff intriguing all the same) isn't as apparent, nor is the fact that I'm trying to draw a parallel between that and the way Celestine's well-intentioned scheme didn't work out in the movie.

    17 downloads of the vid in the first two hours or so... I don't know if that's impressive or not, but I think I'll take it as a good sign, especially considering that I'm using music hardly anyone's heard of.
