  • Jerks ruin the world 2002-02-08 16:21:10 I am so tired of going to the forum and encountering all these assholed who are complaining about the AMV contest

    This web page is a gift to us by people taking the time to maintain a site where AMV creators can meet and show off their stuff.

    The infintile egos and the finger pointing at other creators just makes me wish I could dump some of these people off the page all together.

    I don't even feel like coming by the place right now, because it just makes me angry. 
  • I hate computers 2002-02-06 02:08:48 A friend of mine gave me a copy of ULead 6.5 to update my 6.0 version.

    Now nothing seems to work right!

    ARRRRGHHH!!!!

    Anyway... because Fanime needs the vids to be under 4 mins, I have stopped working on Cowboy Swing... and now I am working on a new one for Fanime.

    I will post it if I can get this 6.5 to work on my computer.

    I noticed that over 100 people have gone to my vids, now that they are on my friend's web site. Not 1 review, though.

    Still... I'm glad others can see my vids at long last!

    I don't even go for sports much... but I am loyal fan of my home team! I know I'm gonna gat a lot of calls from friends and family with news about our team winning the Bowl!

  • Vids are UP!! 2002-02-03 07:21:52 My friend has put my first 4 AMVs on his web page

    I have no idea how they look when DLed through them or anything...
    but now people can see what I have been working so hard on!

    The videos are
    1) Lurking in the Shadows - Phantom Quest Corp. (My first!!)
    2) Tribute to Ed - Cowboy Bebop (Showed at OhayoCon 2002)
    3) Outsider - Lain (One I am very proud of)
    4) Flash Before Your Eyes - Cowboy Bebop (Won "Best Video" OhayoCon 2002!)

  • We have a Winner!!! 2002-01-15 02:58:29 I can't believe it...

    While I was sitting at the Ohayocon AMV contest, everything seemed to go badly. I entered 4 videoes, but only 2 made it to the contest

    The Tribute to Ed went over well, but I could tell the sound had some issues. Then came the real horror... My "Flash Before Your Eyes" video was played and you could barely hear the main tracks... the background vocals and the backgroude effects came over at normal volume. The whole thing sounded badly... and since people couldn't hear the lyrics, they were left to be confused by the backwards video footage (resulting in laughter on a serious video).

    I wanted to cry, because I had worked so hard and the music system was all screwed up.

    Then, much to my surprise, it was announced that "Flash Before Your Eyes" was winner for best video at the contest! I coudn't believe it was true, but sure enough it was.

    I have my first award! Woo-hoo!!!!
