Why am I writing this?

I recieved a very nasty comment from one of my best friends today. It really burned me up... but I didn't tell him just how hurtful the comment was.
Then, I wrote a very long e-mail that was just an unloading of emotional garbage. I tried to explain that the comment was hurtful in the e-mail with a full disclosure of why...
I had hoped that telling him why it hurt would be a better course of action than just letting it sit like a rock in my heart and perhaps becoming the first step of undoing the friendship.
The problem is that I am emotional... I only know how to say what I am feeling... and... as a New Englander (even though I live in CA now) I am used to just containing my emotions rather than letting them out.
I don't know why I am writing this in my journal.
I guess I'm very scared if I did the right thing. If he reads the mail and gets angry at it... or tries to argue with me about it... I'm worried if I will just go off on him... after all.. it took me a lot of effort to try to explain something... and with letting my defenses down like that and trying to patch a wound... an angry rebuke will make the wound worse...
I just feel very insecure now... so maybe that's why I am writing it here.
Maybe I'm just trying to overcome my New England upbrining and dare to share my feelings with others...
I don't know... but here it is in the Journal and now people can know what a nutball I am.

I put up the post that my 4 AMVs were available and there have already been 17 hits (when you combine the 4)

YES! It's true!
All the AMVs I have completed are up on my friend's web page!
For the last 3, only the MPEG1 version of the AMVs are up... but these actually exist in OTHER FORMATS... woooooooo....
(Since I don't know computers for hell... that's a big accomplishment for me!)
Now... On top of this great news...
I got, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and detailed reviews for my "Flash Before Your Eyes" AMV and I did my best to reply with as close to the same effort as I could muster... I have gone and made that review public because it is such a complete and well written review... it almost deseves review scores of its own!!
I hope you enjoy my new AMVs as much as I enjoyed making them.

I just saw the HBO movie "The Laramie Project" and was stunned at what an amazing film it was.
While this has nothing to do with AMVs, I just had to comment on that.

I have a song that I WANT so much to make an AMV to...
unfortunately, I have no one to dedicate it to, so there's no way I can make the AMV... wish I wasn't single.
My friend is taking his sweet time getting my other 4 AMVs up... he told me I could call him a Lazy Bastard... and so I will. DAMN THAT LAZY BASTARD!
I was thinking of a very strange AMV... but I don't know if I like the concept enough to actually make it. It's just I really want to make an AMV using a song by Frank Zappa... but it has to be a good one (cuz I really hate AMVs where someone just says "This is my favorite band and this is my favorite anime so I'm going to throw scenes of the anime over the music... who cares if it fits?" You know the ones....)
Also trying to get 3 of my AMVs on tape so I can enter the Fanime contest. Hope I get them out in time.
Oh... saw Resident Evil. It was a lot of fun. Good, mindless fun with zombies in it. Also had a great ending that really made the movie for me.
Everyone needs to thank George Romero for "Night of the Living Dead" or where would all those great zombie movies and games have come from?
