Time to get back to AMVs

Well...
I have to get back to AMV creating... but this is the part I hate the most... looking at that big empty piece of music and trying to nail down my thoughts on exactly how I want to make the AMV...
I'm going to be resuming work on the Cowboy Swing AMV... the entry is there in my profile and I have done almost nothing other than rip the music and design the opening credits.
I think I am going to learn how to do more effects with my ULEAD program and see what nonsense I can get myself into. I try not to use effects too much, becuase I hate AMVs that just scream out "look how many different transitions my program can do!!"
However... I'm going to try to walk that fine line... and put in LOTS of effects without hurting the AMV... at least... that's the plan...
With any luck, by the time I have that done, I will have picked up the El Hazard DVD box set.
El Hazard - the original OAV - is one of my all time favorite anime titles... and I really want to make an AMV for it. I have a song for my first one... but I have to get the damn DVDs first.
Anyway... the other news is that I am going to actually be on an AMV panel at FANIME. Why? I don't know... but I was asked to do so... and I was already a guest for the con... so what the heck.
Fortunately, ErMac and Brad DeMoss will be on the panel... so I can smile and nod and let them do the talking. I think they will know a lot more about what to say than I do.
Since I can't really explain my own thoughts in how I make my own AMVs... since for me... it's all emotions and a feel that suits my tastes... and my computer knowledge is laughable. HA HA HA HA HA HA! You see!
Still... it'll be fun... and it'll be nice to hang out with Brad again... even if I only see him here and there at the con.

I have no idea what the Boing-Boings are and I think it will be as funny as long as I never know the REAL answer. Yes... I have ideas... but you see what I'm saying.
It just made me laugh for no very good reason and those are often the best laughs

It says I could live to be 101 if I made some changes in my personal health... and I know I want to make some changes anyway...
Anyway... I'm just getting too morbid... I have to quit my job and find something that doesn't make me so miserable. Freedom from the stress I am under right now would certainly improve my odds!
Obviously, I don't take that date seriously... but I do know my life is not as healthy as it could be. There are certain things (like my coke drinkin') that I won't fix... but other things... like reducing stress and exercising more which I can do.
I know once I leave my current job and start my new one (which happens in August-ish) life is gonna get better.
