  • Hypocracy 2002-05-26 20:21:44 How can someone post in the forum about how they hate all these titles by Matsumoto... claiming they hate the art style and how the character's look... and then suddenly start spouting what a fan he is of Star Blazers (aka Yamato)

    Either he was trolling for insults, making him a moron
    or he can't tell that Yamato is the same art style, making him a moron.

    I think I'll just have to say that he's a moron and be done with it.

    I don't understand people who come to forums with the single minded goal of being inflamitory... just for the sake of being inflamitory.

    There are enough problems in the world without people just shooting off their mouths so they can see what happens. However, the people who like to do this are usually unconcerned about these things because they have to little going on in their own head to care.

    People who make posts challenging ErMac, for instance. There's another great time waster... they just want to stir up bad feeling for their own, small-minded amusement.

    These people are a waste of time and space.

  • A-Kon is coming 2002-05-25 09:22:44 I am so happy about going to A-Kon

    I just have a feeling that lots of good things are going to be happening there.

    I've been a little too busy... and have not been able to put too much work into my AMV, but it is almost 50% done!!

    Oh... and I have become a slave to Dungeon Siege... it's a very cool game.

    Also have the problem that I am interested in someone who lives on the other side of the country... why can't my stupid brain ever fall for someone who is a little closer by?

    Oh well...

    Anyway... A-Kon is coming! A-Kon is coming! 
  • Democrats pissing me off 2002-05-22 05:01:22 WHY AREN'T THEY CHALLENGING BUSH???

    There is a lot of evidence of Bush and the inbred Bush family tampeing with votes in Florida - some stuff sounds incredibly illegal.

    The F'n' Republicans try to defend the allegations against what Bush knew by saying "Well...Clinton knew it too". The Dems don't just get up and point out that CLINTON WANTED TO GO AFTER BIN LADEN, BUT THE REPUBLICANS ACCUSED HIM OF TRUMPING UP BIN LADEN TO COVER FOR MONICA!!

    THe Republicans get upset when we say anything negative of their boy... and yet they don't seem to look back when the Republicans ground our nation to a halt... going after Clinton on everything they could... ruining his ability to run the nation by undermining him... and now they say Dems are just playing polotics when they question Bush??

    And let's not forget EnRon...

    WHY WON'T THE DEMOCRATS GO AFTER THESE JERKS!

    The Republicans stomp on laws and freedoms and rights and
    they act like Clinton was bad cuz he got a blow job???

    THe damage the Republicans have done to our nation is constantly on my mind...
    The fact Clinton got a blow job has NO IMPACT on my life.

    My dislike of the Republicans is now a solid, burning hatred... and I'm angry at the Democrats for letting these criminals slide after all they've done!

    Haven't seen Star Wars ep II yet
    Still working on my video (I can really only work on it on my days off)

    I read ErMac's journal and I was very sorry to hear about his ear. I had an ear inection a while ago - I mean a LONG while ago - and it was one of the most painful things I have ever been through. What happened to ErMac sounds mild in comparison, but I'm sure it wasn't pleasant. Glad things worked out OK!

    I know what AMVs I want to submit to Expo (which will be the next contest I plan on entering) but the submission guidelines sound nuts. Am I supposed to send 1 VHS tape per AMV! That's CRAZY! (and expensive)

    I gotta see if I can put them on DVD.

     
  • Keep making the same mistake 2002-05-19 19:46:29 I foolishly got into another EVA debate and those always make me angry.

    When you have an episode called "The Beast who shouted "I" at the center of the world."

    And people aregue that it isn't about Shinji recognizing himself as an individual.

    They say he chose fantasy in the tv show over reality

    They say he chose instrumentality in the tv show over individualism

    I wonder who they think was screaming "I"


    People don't seem to want to think to hard. EVA is filled with information...some obviouse (like a GOD DAMN TITLE) and some less obvious). Hell... there's one piece of important information to the show, but no one ever says it...
    You have to take the events of one episode, compare it with something said in another episode and then deduce the logical conclusion from events from another ep.

    EVA is not spelled out for the simple. It is complicated and requires real thought and real discussion.

    I have dealt with so many people who missed the obvious and have become steadfast on the most foolish conclusions.

    In the end, I just get frustrated and angry...

    I don't know why I don't just steer clear of these things...
    save for the fact that I consider EVA (the TV show) to be one of the finest shows ever made... and so I get very emotional over it...

    Well... I'm too stressed out to type any more.
