There's a quick comment bar for recent downloads now. Ureshi! I remember that Sammy suggested that, but I didn't think anyone would implement it. Then again, he had a thousand different people reading his journal, so... Either way, this is great! I've had a lot of vids pile up because I wanted to leave comments, but didn't want to go to the effort of leaving a long long op. This makes life much easier! So I wanna say THANKS!!
On to other things: listening to Shooting Star by Bang! (from DDR). I CAN CONTACT FM-A.COM AGAIN!!!! I'm so happy! Of course, this isn't all good, because now I've got another big thing keeping me from homework, and this year, I need all the work time I can get.
School has finally sunk in, and I think I'm sinking.... English is scaring the shit out of me. I procrastinated on the America writing, so it already wasn't as good as I wanted, Then we had to break it down, find (or write) our thesis and hook, and X out all the chliches we used, among other things I can't remember. I understand that this will strengthen our writing, but damn is it hard. Also, because I rephrase absolutely everything, I don't write as well on paper as I do with a keyboard and computer. So it's tough. And next class is the essay test on A Midwife's Tale. Joy...
Couple more things, then I'm off. I love the little Rawr banner and Kare Kano vol 17. It's getting really interesting now. Okay, Jaa ne! -

Survived my first week of school fairly intact. It's funny: the classes I enjoy most are the hard college courses. Go figure. But I need to keep on top of my work, if I wanna keep enjoying them.

Just got off the phone with my potential new voice teacher - sounds nice. Another class I'm loving is choir. I love singing and I'm very impressed with the teacher. He's young, but he knows his stuff.
Anyway, just wanted to write 'cause I'm in a very good mood. Ja ne! ^_^
To do:
1) Memorize French skit
2) Read and remember chapters 1-3 in history text
5) Read and take notes on chap 1 in physics text
6) "Define America" in a one-page, double-spaced, TNR 12-font essay and give evidence for John Smith argument (and finish Midwife's Tale)

Listening to Eternal Snow from Full Moon wo Sagashite. Fantastic song. Today's classes were a lot better than yesterday. AP History was... can't think of the best word, but "gripping" "entertaining" "fun" come to mind. It may be hard, but it'll be great too. The teacher is energetic and loves his subject, so I think we'll be fine. Sociology will be interesting, though I'm a little intimidated (couldn't contribute much today). In AP English I was DEFINITELY intimidated; we spent all class talking about the AP exam at the end of the year (the whole course is aimed at getting us to pass it, which is kind of sad because we should learn more than what's going to be on one test!). Our reading this year is focused on nonfiction/historical fiction - not my fave - and our work is based heavily on analysis and essentially dissecting the author's thought process. It's fun, yet...not. And the only book on the list that I'm even remotely interested in reading is Catcher in the Rye, just because there are a few references to it in Ghost in the Shell SAC. Yes, my life revolves a lot on anime. Heh. The passage we read today made a reference to the seven deadly sins and I reeled them off - I'm not even religious, just a die-hard fan of Full Metal Alchemist! It's funny.
Anyway, those are the rest of my classes. I had choir again today and we had a small voice test. T'was fun.

Reacp for first day of school: I have the same scary French teacher that I've had for the last two years, I gave my new math teach a bad first impression, Physics will be interesting, even if plauged, and choir will be fun, but I'm pissed that it's the same default choir I had last year sans the guys who were kinda interesting. So not a great day, on top of which I had bad stomach cramps.
Fuck society. Society does nothing but create unnecessary stress with taboo and hierarchy. Especially in highschool. Why the fuck does everyone have to conform?!
I'm in a bad mood. There's nothing else to write. I'll gather together what I need for homework, read Midwife, do some math, then leave opinions I think. later minna. -

Going to Shenandoah today, but I have a lot of homework piling up. I had a really scary dream that I was still only half done with the math and I had a half hour to turn it in. Well, I'm still half done, and I have two days. Both of which have things on the schedule. I'm scared...
I wanna work on my fanfic. It's strange, I've never had a real writing project that's lasted this long. There are a lot that I bounce back to, like the NTHT/Fruba story, but I've been working on this one for a few months, and I'm still loving it! I'm happy.
