JOURNAL: LeahNari (call me Lee-san )

  • 787 My head hurts 2005-12-19 19:10:33 I don't really know why I'm writing, but I am. Stayed after for the last Anime club before break; I loved it - we watched FMA fansubs and converted more fans.
Watching Shattered by Jaddziax, jade-eyed-angel, and ...um.... other guy, Scoob. I think. Eh, I like it. I watched eps 29-34 with my parents recently. Don't know why, but that part of the story always kinda bugged me. I think it was the way Ed handled everything. Bugged my parents too. But we all still love the story.
I introduce my friends to the video Date Rape every chance I get. Even the non-fans love it! One of my friends was on the floor laughing so hard! It's a good feeling.
I have a tough history test on Wednesday - the Civil War. I need to read the last chapter tonight, along with finishing math and gathering together stuff for my Andromeda submissions. And my head hurts...!
I think the thing that bugs me the most about the andromeda submissions is that I haven't been working on anything except my fanfiction - which is not allowed in the magazine. Cry.
Read chapter 54 of FMA yesterday. Cleared up a few things, but now I'm worried. I like Ling...
Not much else to say, so I'm gonna sign off now. Jaa ne!
  • 784 Wind-Up Records >( 2005-12-17 16:08:19 I just read the thread about the record company forbidding us to use Evanescence, Creed and Seether. I'm in the mood to wage a war. At least a flame war.
But I guess I shouldn't bother. All I will say is that the people at Wind-up records are jerks.
This may sound kinda selfish, but I'm glad I never deleted Memories by Inverse or Innocence Lost by Haruka (some of the best FMA vids out there!). I'm also kinda glad I had no serious projects for those bands.
What worries me most is whether other companies will follow suit.
    ...
Death to the noob who got their attention!!!!!!

I guess this is a turning point for AMV fans. Hope it works out well.
    It will.
  • 773 SNOW DAY!!! Nyahahahahahaha! 2005-12-09 10:43:37 I'm happy. We've got a three day weekend now. And my test in history is being pushed back a WEEK! YES! 'Tis nice.
And I got an extra five hours of sleep today. I stayed up till midnight last night studying for my reading quiz in AP History, crawled into bed at 12:30, got up this morning at 5-o'dark-30, checked my computer, and did a little happy dance. Then informed my parents and went back to sleep. Was so happy. Now I have more time to do many wonderful things. Like the treadmill. Getting through my netflix queue. Working on Little Sister or Beautiful Rose. Writing, maybe working on an Andromeda submission. Playing Final Fantasy. Holiday shopping. Edit my project for English. Finish off other homework. I'm glad.
Saw Carrie the other day. I don't know why it's considered horror. It was more a tragedy than anything else. And I won't bother comparing it to Akira. Just, no. But, it wasn't bad. Angry-making! But well-done. Those actresses deserved those Academy Award noms. They deserved the awards!
And now I'm just rambling, so I'm gonna log off and run on the treadmill a while. See you all later! Happy Holidays!
  • 758 2002 Banners 2005-11-30 14:36:30 Sugei, na. Just got home from school. Listening to Angels by Within Temptation before cleaning up, grabbing a snack, and checking some stuff and doing work.
Watching my dog scratch her neck, then hugging my dog, and fluffing her fur. The only word I can express is 'peace'.
Now Dark Wings by Within Temptation. They're a good band!
We have a project in English to be morally perfect. Select four virtues (anything you can think of) then dedicate one day to each, and make note of how many times you violate said virtue of that day. Then write an anecdote at the end of two weeks on which was the easiest and which was the hardest to live by. Sounds fun, right? Right. I guess I need to figure out my virtues today, because one of them has to be *guarding against procrastination*! I need to get more sleep. I also need to work on my amv... *hammer*
And so ends my writing for today. Jaa mata ne!
  • 753 Watching Russell Peters 2005-11-25 23:08:48 A comedien my friend introduced me to. Can't focus very well. He's pretty funny.
    Few hours later:
Now watching Christmas with the Kranks. Actually, watching Come Out and Play by Future Boy Digital Productions, trying to ignore awful and offensive movie. Next is an FMA AMV, I'm sure. Red Sun Rising. Better than I gave it credit for. I love FMA. And Nightwish. Strangely enough, I love Tori Amos too. Especially her song Precious Things. Now I'm rambling, but this is good, because I have a few things I need to mention.
Who knows Sam, the world's ugliest dog? Check him out!

    Sadly, he just died recently.
The birthday was good. My parents really surprised me. The Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection. Good stuff! I'm looking forward to that.
Thanksgiving was good too. We're in New York by the way. With Granny, aunt and uncle, and cousins. We're having fun.
Watching Advent Blade Trinity. Very cool. Wesley Snipe's voice against Cloud kinda freaks me out, but it's still really good.
Now I'm gonna bounce through various scenes of Advent Children for a while (God, it's cool!). I think I'm done talking. Jaa mata ne!
