  • 828 Jan 23, 2006 2006-01-23 20:54:13 We never did get to NY this weekend. Our dog Baby got sick. We had to put her to sleep tonight.

Ever get that feeling where you have so much to say, but just can't bring yourself to put any of it down?
  • 822 Ohisashibure. 2006-01-19 16:02:32 Yeah, and a belated happy new year. I'm ripping CDs right now, to put on my new iAudio iPod-ish thingie. We're headed to NY this weekend and I wanted to get some stuff on it. I should be studying for my DBQ tomorrow. Because I suck at those. I know I should start work immediately....
    I'm unbelievable.
    See you later.
  • 809 watching Noir ^_^. Mouth is numb. 2005-12-27 16:03:42 My wisdom teeth are gone. All of 'em. The uppers were taken out a few months ago, and today I had surgery to take out the lowers. I say again, Novocaine is incredible! Now my mouth is numb down to my chin. The right side is getting some feeling, but when I poke the left side, it feels like rubber, and registers nothing. Very creepy feeling.
Noir is a cool series. Nice art - the eyes are incredible. Moody, yet amazing story. I don't remember this much flashback filler, but it doesn't bother me so much.
The right side of my jaw is starting to hurt, meaning that the novocaine is wearing off. Now it'll get *fun*.
Saw The Promise Made In Our Early Days. Really nice, with a really sad mood. I like. And now, whenever I think of it, or Voices of a Distant Star, I get the song Through the Years and Far Away stuck in my head. Sigh.
Not much to say now. Bye-bye.
  • 801 Mari Kurisumasu 2005-12-25 18:39:54 T'was a good holiday - we spent most of it sleeping, then opening gifts. I'm rejoicing over Noir, an iPod-like thing that can play videos (AMVs!! hahaha), and the DVD of The Incredibles. We got a lot of movies. It was fun.
Just watched Fate of an Alchemist - not bad.
Now I have to think about all the things I must do over the break. Made a big change for my fanfic - I figured it would be easier to just combine the birth of "Wrath" with their meeting Greed. I think it works.
We still have to do a gift exchange with some of our friends... and still need to shop a little. So we're going shopping tomorrow, I think. Three cheers for Boxing Day sales.
Not much else to say - Happy Holidays everybody!
  • 792 "But you still have.... 2005-12-21 15:56:25 all of me."
Listening to a live performance of My Immortal. Beautiful song. And it's funny, the audience sings the chorus, not Amy Lee. Now I'm reminded of the big bru-hah -
"But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along."
    - with Wind Up Records. I am sad.
Now the song is winding down. I cry. Memories by Inverse RULES. I'm done.
Saw Mrs. Rollet today - my history teacher from last year. She brought her daughter to the school Holiday party. Mackenzie Elizabeth. It was great to see her - now I could thank her. My grade isn't high (litote - my English grade is!), in fact, it probably took a nosedive from today's test, but I'm really glad Mrs. Rollet talked me into taking AP History. I'm glad I saw her.
Playlist has switched to NEMO BY NIGHTWISH!!! (Lost Soul. Inverse rules again).
Andromeda submissions are due tomorrow. I've gathered a lot of photos that I want to submit. Maybe I'll post a link on my next journal. I hope I can pick a short story to submit...
After tomorrow, big long break. To do: work on Little Sister or Starlight (title subject to change), *write out* the fanfic, watch Places Promised in Our Early Days, watch and do an extra credit write up on Cold Mountain, drive every day, work out on the treadmill... and I won't even get into all my homework. History, Sociology, English, probably Math... C'est la vie.
Senses Capture by Leaves' Eyes. Great song!
Well, now I should finish off my math. Later!
