You know, it's interesting: I just realized that everyone goes through teenage angst , but each person has a different type. Some want independence, some love, some want to find out who the fuck they are... and we can't really understand a type that we don't have.
Finished Haibane Renmei and have a fic idea for it. I need to get an idea that I can turn into a short, one-shot thing so I can post something and move on. Most of my ideas are going nowhere right now, so I'm focusing on an original for now with the same results.
I've got a project in Film Study due in about a month: view some movies of a certain director, take notes, and write a paper on his themes and such. I'm studying Ron Howard and am having fun so far, but I'm not making much progress. I also should be working on my English homework right now.
I feel weird. Kinda depressed, but I can't think of anything to write about. Funny, though. I've never kept a journal as long as this one. -

May as well call it by the month. When's the last time i typed in this, anyway? Bad me.
Not much is new. Spring Break after tomorrow. WOO! Writing, watching, buying, being anime. Hopefully. I'm also gonna include my friends in this ^_^. But we'll be doing other things, I'm sure.
Sigh... I've been neglecting the AMV world. I've been so wrapped up in fanfiction that I haven't bothered coming to this site anymore. All my ideas are probably taken by now...
Maybe I can try to work on my AMV over the break too. I know I'm gonna try to catch up on my reviews. I haven't submitted one in over a month! (And you people are probably going "Yeah, I know.")
I've found a new musical group called Taking Back Sunday. Not bad. Can't. really.sing, but they have interesting topics. After hearing "There's no I in Team" I was thinking, "Did these guys watch Akira before writing this?" Either way, I like it.
Film Study must be one of the weirdest courses. I mean, I understand what we're supposed to look for and have a new understanding of how movies are made, but I'm not very interested in that. And it's hard to notice special shots, visual themes and other stuff if we can't take notes the one time we watch the movie! And half the time, we can't find the damned things to rent. Sigh. I know I should not be worrying about this, but I still am.
My two friends are going to try to set me up with this guy we know. He's a senior, and nice. He likes anime (always a plus), but then again, I'm not sure if we're into the same things. And of course, friends playing matchmaker with me always meant the whole thing going up in smoke... Too bad.
I've got an essay draft to do this afternoon. Don't wanna do it... This sounds familiar.
I think I'm gonna hunt around for some fanfics or movie reviews now. Ja ne! -

My science teacher gave us a project on mitosis last week. It's due tomorrow, and I started the damned thing today. So here I am at 11:30, still working on it. I finally finished the _project_ part, now I need to knock off the essay. Shouldn't take more than an hour...
Man, and I had been doing so well lately about doing my work and getting to bed early. How sad.
On the other hand, I have no other homework because I finished it all yesterday. ^_^
Just watched Akira again. Now I have new drive for my fanfic.

Glasses

Wow, sorry for neglecting this, guys. (If anyone cares...)
Well, I just came back from the eye doctor today with a pair of glasses. Wow. Never thought I'd need them, but apparently I'm a little near-sighted, so c'est la vie. The scariest thing is how much they help. ^_^
I recently finished the Chobits manga series. It was great! A sappy love story that also posed some interesting moral questions about humanity vs. machines. I also liked how closely it was tied to Angelic Layer. Kaede was Minoru's sister, Icchan created the Chobits, etc. It's like AL is the kid and Chobits is the big, "grown-up" sister. I dunno. But it's good.
Just saw Love Hina Spring Special and Love Hina Again. Bizarre and sappy, as usual. Though I didn't really care for the extra amount of fanservice in LHA. It's like... "Did not need to see that..." I was also startled by the different animation style; the characters are a lot different, older or no.
God, Shinobu's so sweet. I'm glad things go well for her.
Got book 8 of Kare Kano. YAY! OMG, this is such a fantastic series!!!!!!!!!
I'm running out of space on my bookshelf for manga and stuff. Uh oh... ^_^ -

Happy Valentine's Day! C'est le jour de Saint Valentine! Lover's Day!
And here I am alone and single. Screw it.
Well, not really alone. My family, friends and I have been spending all day cleaning and preparing for a big raclette party tonight. ^_^ It's fun.
Getting farther on my fanfiction. I'm also fine-tuning a story I did for an assignment from my Creative Writing teacher. She wants to submit it to a contest of some sorts. O_O ^_^.
Other good scholastic news... did I mention the science fair? Yes I did. Ok, after doing pretty damn well on my PSATs, I got a letter from Brown University offering me a place at a summer program they're running. OH MY GOD! I feel great! Gotta keep it up. ^_^
Speaking of which, I've got a lot to do. Sayonara!
