i Have been gone for such a long time...

Konnichi-wa, minna-san!
or Konbanwa. It is 11 pm my time
Lots has been going on, but it's kinda hazy now. I've been battling with course selections for school next year and potential colleges for two years time. Very intimidating work, it is. Also, I have spent the majority of this weekend with my dad battling a virus on my laptop (which my *dear* friend incidently gave me when he offered a crack link to some software he lent me), so I haven't had time for editing. Bitch, bitch, bitch, right?
Just saw the movie Millenium Actress and loved it. Very innovative. I think I must see Perfect Blue now. I need to go back to the anime rental store and pick up some stuff. Paranoia Agent is intriguing. Oh, also, I have FALLEN IN LOVE with Full Metal Alchemist. My greatest thanks to Tyler_yj for his video Tsumibito no Kashou, otherwise I would never have seen the series! Merci Beaucoup, Tyler-sama ^_^.
Incidentally, I've been listening to Rammstein's album Mutter and noticed that FMA could easily fit a lot of the songs (Mother, Sun, etc).
All for now. I shall type more often.

Good News
2005-01-10 17:55:48
I've finished off two resolutions: donate to AMV.org and to the Tsunami fund. I'm proud of myself, though I don't feel like I sent enough. i hope it helps. Hm, my other resolutions were to start on my own AMVs and leave one opinion per week... Works in progress. I think I've officially put Mukatsuku on hold, but I don't know what project to pick up. I wanna work with Fruits Basket or something, but I have no great ideas for that series ;_;. I just realized, I've been writing in the journal for a little over a year - "Resolutions" was my first log. ^_^
I have a current events project due on Wednesday, so I need to go work on that. And now things are picking up at the Literary Magazine, so I need to spend a lot of time catergorizing the submissions. Just when I needed some kill-time. C'est la vie.

My first entry of the new year
2005-01-07 21:27:17
I guess I'll just keep my same resolutions from last year... I feel bad... I'll add one to contribute to the Tsunami Relief fund, and I'm pretty sure I'll keep this one.
I love the movie The Sixth Sense. Of the three Shyamalan stories I've seen, it is by far the best.
Pathetic. I have nothing else to write. Story of my life.

Happy New Year! Now if I could remember what that was in Japanese...
Heading back home in the morning. The drive will take most of the day. We will have a day of recuperation before school on monday. Provided our car doesn't die on us. The cold of Detroit was a cruel shock to our Prius's system.
It's getting hard for me to work on Mukatsuku. I wanna work on something else - like Fruits Basket. Yeah. Pick something for Fruba and finish it - JUST TO GET SOMETHING OUT!! Maybe I should devote myself to banners; I'm actually making progress there.... kinda.
See you in 2005!
