I just felt like saying that. We're heading up north in a few hours. Check out some campuses, go see Vermont, Boston, visit Granny... all that good stuff. And I haven't packed a damn thing. Ha ha ha. And I'm not guaranteed internet access, so I figured I'd write now. It'll be fun, I know. And when I get back, it'll be a few weeks until school. I shall pick up my room excavation project again, and finish my summer homework. Fun.
I'm really tired as I write this, so I don't know if I'm trying to be upbeat, or if my sarcasm is really subdued.
CardCaptor Sakura is so friggin' cute. And I used to think that I'd never add "friggin'" to my vocabulary because it sounds so stupid.
My alarm just went off. Mom woke me up an hour early. Meh. Anyway, I think that's enough for now. Matta ne! -

I know I said I wouldn't, but I finished the FMW manga before the anime. Damn is it ever incredible. Can't wait till the last eps download!! The manga is so cool. and sweet. and fucking amazing. I love the chemistry between Mitsuki and the three shinigami. They're a family. They all have issues and scars to hide, but they really care for each other. It's a feel-good-- no it's not. It's an emotional story.
Little side things: The songs sung at the end of the manga came from the anime soundtrack. I loved that I could play Smile and New Future in time to what was happening in the story. Also, I really like Izumi Lio. Too bad his anime counterpart is so evil. He's really great.
I was reading this review of FMW and someone was talking about why it hadn't been licensed in the US yet. The music. Someone needs to write good english versions of the songs, and to find talented singers. Who can work as voice actors. For 52 episodes. That makes me think: What will I do for the next few years? I could try rewriting the songs and sending out my work. I would love to play Mitsuki.
Dream a dream. Anyway, it's worth a shot. And I can't forget that "The fans know best."
I think I should start my own website. Reviews, commentary, links, stories, pictures. That would be fun!

Memo to self: read Journal Buddies tomorrow.
Well, I've spent the last two days trying to clean out my room in order to make more room on my bookshelves. Somehow I ended up cleaning out and dusting my desk. Now it smells of wet hamster or something. Truly lovely. It's really late, and my back hurts as I type this because my chair is on the other side of the room at the moment. And I'll be back to cleaning in the morning. Sigh. Summer wasting away. I have to do this faster.
Fruits Basket is fucking incredible. Can't wait 'til 12 comes out. As I think I've said before, I've sworn off the online version. Speaking of online manga, I've decided to not read the final chapters of Full Moon wo Sagashite until I've seen the last episodes. I hope it's good. Review said it was fantastic. I like that Karmaburn site. BTW, the manga released by Viz could be better, like keeping the keigo and nicknames, not to mention some sort of translator's note, but they didn't ruin it. I look forward to the later volumes.
KareKano went really emo on us all, but it's still funny. Tsubasa manga rocks. Tsubasa anime wrecks. Immortal Rain 6 is the final volume licensed by TokyoPop, but not the final volume of the series, which is a pisser because I can't find any info on volume 7. ... I'm thinking of rewatching Outlaw Star... or FMA... And I'm running out of things to write.
Oh yeah. I was watching the Oh My Goddess OVAs in Japanese with french subtitles, AND I UNDERSTAND IT!!! I'm so happy!! @_@ And impressed.
Now my back really hurts. See you all tomorrow.

I'm chewing on mint gum which is quickly turning bitter, flexing a sore foot, and staring at a cute banner by aznangel1219. "You promised me an opinion!!"
Tsubasa 6 is fantastic. The anime is not nearly as good. Fruits Basket is getting intense (on 10th volume). I've decided to stop reading the chapters online. It just confuzes me when I get the Tokyopop version. Sigh.
I have a lot of things to do today, that I'm hesitant to start. Laundry, make muffins, work on the video, do my math packet for next year and get further on my summer reading. Oy vey. But I have some time. It's fine.
Just saw volume one of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex. It's pretty cool, and like Perry said, it makes you think. And the dub is fair. I love the opening song Inner Universe! I was surprised when they started singing in Russian, but it's beautiful! A very haunting melody. And it could go well with the Ah/Oh My Goddess story!

Just spent a couple hours looking at the fullmetal alchemist gallery. Such fun. but I'm really tired. I'll probably sleep till noon again tomorrow.
Sigh. So much to do, so little time.
I have a lot of my fanfic planned, but little written. I think I'm gonna get some practice writing in the forums. Captions and stuff. I just wrote a really long skit for one picture. I guess I'll look back at it in a few days and see what people think of it.
