Yes indeed, I take forever. But SOLs are done, as is the SAT (which I had to take fcuking OUT OF STATE because I am a SLACKER and didn't register until the LAST DAY!! Sigh.). Only things left are the finals. This includes projects and papers. None of these is specifically mind-bogglingly horrible, it's just a lot of work to finish by Friday. That's also the night we have our choral concert. ^^;;;
As you can probably guess, I'm procrastinating right now. I have French, math, a physics quiz to study for, writing to edit, an english paper to start, not to mention a short write up on the songs I'm using for the history project (American History through Music. Such fun!!!!). That's all what I should do TODAY. Sigh. Anyone else tired of my bitching?
Yesterday, I went white water rafting with a bunch of friends in PA. It was great; I love rafting! We've gone every summer to the same river for the past five years and each time it's different. For example, yesterday was cold and rainy and we had to wear wetsuits. Another time, the river was really low because it was so dry. Makes it interesting. Yesterday we got pinned between a couple rocks. Our guide fought for a long time trying to get us free, and we just sat there thinking "What do we DO??" Later, Caty started to push me and we ended up both going into the river. T'was fun!
BTW, I saw Chr(o)no Crusade a few weeks ago. Very cool, then the ending went all to hell. SPOILER: The bad guy WON!!! They killed Satella! Joshua forgot everything! Reminton suffered! Aion lived! Why the hell did that cruel bastard live?? I mean, I really did like the show, even the strange climax plot and the sweetly tragic end for Chrono and Rosette, but if they had just ended the series at ep 18, after that sweet heart-to-heart, I would have been happy. On another note, did Chrono have amnesia or something? He originally brought Mary to Aion to complete his evil plan. He didn't REMEMBER that Aion needed the Mary Madgalene for his evil plan?! I think I would have been interrogating Chrono black-and-blue trying to figure out what was going on! Ok, not black-and-blue. Chrono's a sweetie.
Little things like that bothered me, but it was a cool story (looking forward to the manga!!). I think my fave characters were Chrono and Azmaria. She was so sweet, and really grew through the story. Yohkata.
BTW, saw Memoirs of a Geisha, too. My first impressiong hearing about it was "Can Hollywood really not tell Asians apart?" I still don't know, but I liked the movie. It was quite a story, and knowing the cultural details gave me a sense of power >:)
Thus ends my entry today. Mataa ne, minna-san! I won't bother promising that I'll write soon, because I probably won't. *shrug* I'll write when I write when I write. :P

It's been a while. Again. Just thought I should say something here before the next slew of standardized tests start next week.
Done with APs; I'm not confident about either. English, sigh. I wrote a lot for my history essays, but that means nothing as far as the grade goes. Next are SOLs in History, Algebra II and English. As well as oral PALs in French. I cannot stand French anymore. The language I love, the teacher I hate. And now I guess I should be worried, because I'm not a favorite in the class anymore, and it may affect my grade. C'est la vie.
I've been working a lot on my drawings lately, finishing at least one sketch of 10 of my characters. Maybe I'll have a few on dA by this weekend. I'll also put down a few opinions here, too. I have so many due. TToTT In the meantime I'm submitting my anthology work for CW - shall be fun.
I don't know what else to write here, really. I'll KIT. Ja ne!

But I found this on my friend's journal and thought I'd complete it (the first question was intriguing). So here goes, and thanks to redwalgrl.
1. What color are your kitchen plates?
Well, some are corelle (unbreakable until you drop them onto a concrete patio from the back deck 20 feet above. My mom let us try this!!) and some are ceramic with a blue-plant motif around the edges. I don't remember the details.
2. What book are you reading now?
The Great Gatsby in English (on hold until after AP exams), Marley and Me with my parents (car reads) and Unfinished Nation (my history textbook, all of which I need to know and love by APs).
3. What is on your mouse pad?
Stable: A blue stamp that says A-4 Tech, two wheels (one of which doesn't work), 4 buttons.
Laptop: black color, 2 silver buttons. One wheel.
Both: my sweat. :P
4. Favorite board game?
Does sudoku count? No. ...Yatzee drives me crazy... Candyland... Movie Madness!!
5. Least favorite smells?
Skunk is up there (chemicalish)... Bradford Pear... those pens that make my head hurt... vomit + excrement... there is one overwhelming thing, but I can't remember what it is!
6. What is the first thing you think of in the morning?
Something along the lines of "Oh, I'm conscious again."
7. Favorite color:
Reddish purple. Followed by bright bluish green.

Muddy orange. Vomit-green. If you see these shades, you know what I mean.

I don't count, I run or rummage to answer the damn phone!

If it's soft-serve, the twist w/ both. More often, I like vanilla.

Kinda, they're on my bed. A black cat named Boo-Boo (got him at a garage sale as a kid. He had a hole) and a cute little stuffed dog I call Morrie.

What I go by in life, my friend started calling me in first grade. It just stuck. Call me any other derivative of my name, and I go crazy.

A lot of things, but the most would be stupidity. Others' stupidity, and my own.

Sometimes, yeah. Coming up with quotes is my favorite game, though very few people are willing to play it.

I often think about X-ray vision, that lets you find anything. Everything goes black except for the thing you're looking for, which glows. It shows the direction it's in and the distance from me - you see your glasses downstairs on top of where the table would be if you were looking for that.

Well, Will Farrell as mentioned before. Many of the kids in my school. The leaders of our country. People who are not just stupid, but obnoxious about it. Bullies. Etc.

Two dogs. A border collie mix named Dusty, and a large "handsome tri-color beagle" named Snap (coupled with Crackle and Pop).

Home from Williamsburg and scrambling to catch up with all my work due Monday. I'm also suffering from motivation-based pseudo writer's-block. I want to work on my story, but I can't... form the words, probably because my invisible mallet of a conscience is screaming "Homework!" I don't wanna....
Well, Happy Easter everybody.
I don't remember whether I have a voice lesson tomorrow. That'd be fun. But my work...
C'est la vie. C'est la vie. Que sera, sera.
I guess I'll work on my Great Gatsby assignment. Very interesting story, though none of the characters are really likeable. The word "vapid" comes to mind. But it's kinda funny watching them. And sad, since I can see a lot of those attitudes reflected today in my generation.
I wish I could just do something and be incredible.
