I've been fiddling around with my segment for AMV Hell 3... and the way I have it now, the character looks like a child molester, almost O.O *blushblush*
...oh well, the segments are supposed to be wrong/funny... but I'm taking wrongness from the series and making it... wronger. Mixed feelings on this one, it might be funny but if I make it wrong enough, I might hate or dislike myself for it... and I'd always have mixed feelings, no matter how much of a masterpiece it turns out to be... which will be more of one than my previous vids. *sigh* here's to artistic license (and my parents hopefully being open-minded... I doubt I'll show it to them again until it's finished (if ever).

...I also have other AMV Hell 3 ideas... which I shall submit eventually.
...and when my friend came over yesterday, I showed her my third video, which she said was better than my first, at least... I happen to think it's my best yet (besides my in progress segment). Also, I added a few fades to my video, just to smooth it out a little. -

School's out. Jessica came over, and we watched AMVs. It was okay, but we watched too much 'till our heads hurt. The we walked around like zombies saying "braaaiiiinnnnns".
But I'm sad because I won't see alot of people 'till the fall, when school starts up again, including one person I'll really miss. She's a student who transferred in at the start of this year. She's very smart and insightful, and at one point, she intimidated me. I'm not sure she knew that though. It's just I'd always felt like I understood English class, then I didn't, then she came along, seemingly understanding better than me. So maybe I was a bit jealous, but not any longer. Now she's someone who I like, and who I respect very much. I don't think I've felt like that before. It happened sort of gradually, and I wish I had gotten her phone number or email. She did sign my yearbook though, but I was kind of sad, because I gave a presentation today and she didn't get to see it (she had implied that she wanted to see it). I did leave my notes, including my whole monologue that I wrote, on her desk, which I promised to do once she found out she had to leave. Anyway, I hope she likes it, because her opinion matters to me. It's funny, I don't even hang out with her that much, I'm not sure how much we have in common (though she did say she used to watch anime but doesn't have the time, and she likes CLAMP manga, like me). Somehow she's just become someone who matters to me. Maybe it's because she's nice, and interesting, and not at all arrogant though she's one of the smarter people I know.
*sigh* like they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. -
On the IB assessment

It's only 15% of my grade, 3rd Quarter is 40%, 4th Quater is 30%, the essay is 15%. So that's good, means I'm more likely to get an A or a B. I still have to finish it though... and it's due tomorrow. T_T
4 finals down, 2 to go. *sigh* But then it's happyfuntime with Jessica and anime and AMVs! Yatta! (SO had to say it :D)
I HOPE my English teacher is really lenient with me... or thinks it's really good... the way my teacher last year did.

well the score on my Artificial Light video, the star score, is going down again. It topped out at 3.12.
that's all, I guess. I should work on my AMV Hell 3 segment now. -

...that "delete bad video entry" could be interpreted to mean deleting a sucky video. It's like "hi, admins, ummm... people are giving me 1s and 2s when they give me stars... my video must suck... why did i ever list it *sob*"
Don't worry, my videos aren't quite in that position and I don't think I would do it anyway. Although if I uploaded my first ever video, it would probably get a lot of such reactions. It's not the worst video in the world, but it's badly edited, uses fansub footage and an annoying song (at least to me after hearing it that much), and it's not terribly original. I mean it's the first one with that song/anime combination, but that sort of thing is done all the time, I guess. You'd have to see it to know (and you never will! Ha!). So it will remain listed but not uploaded.
Also, I had to go home sick from school today, even though it's finals week. I was feeling really awful. Anyway my teacher will let me finish my test later, so it's all good. But I should go to school tomorrow, because I have two finals. Today I only had one, then in the other class I would have just studied or something.
