JOURNAL: bubblehead

  • Blah blah blah 2004-02-01 00:38:02 hi, this is your host, rambling pointlessly once again!

Yeah. so I edited up to the 1:11 minute mark, and made some slight changes to earlier parts (adjusted the timing). This video is going a lot more slowly than my first vid, b/c of the extra steps ripping DVDs adds and b/c I care more about the final product. Hopefully it'll be fairly good. I'll probably make this one downloadable. It already looks better than the previous one (then again, that's not TOO hard ^^;)
  • Testing, one, two 2004-01-30 21:31:28 I tested making a video in movie make with multiple frame rates (because I only IVT'd SOME of my video files. I saved it as a .wmv, watched it twice, and concluded that there were no issues (movie maker chooses the higher frame rate).
  • More Progress 2004-01-28 19:57:30 *yawn*
I need to be more creative with my titles here. Anyway:
about 51 seconds edited now... but I'm not entirely satisfied and may make some changes... although it's frustrating to change earlier parts of a video in Movie Maker, b/c you lose your synchronization and have to make it work again
more footage captured, and vdub problems fixed thanks in part to the helpful people on the forum here ^^

And I have future rough plans. I won't get into details, but:
a shorter (less than 3 minutes) video, my first without lyrics, most likely a dance video
also possibly (though this is a rougher idea) a video to a piece of classical music

    thanks for reading! ^^
  • Current Progress... well, you get it 2004-01-27 18:32:31 further cut the song down to 4:03 minutes ^^
Sucessfully converted the vobs from one episode to Huffyuv avis ^^
Realized exactly HOW humongous huffyuv avis are
    vowed to make them in segments in the future, in order to delete some to save space ^^;
Edited the first 9 seconds of the video ^^ now I'll need the next episode
Oh, and in order to do all this, figured out a little basic Avisynth. This makes me a nerd, right?

    Random thought of the day:
CDs are great because you can skip tracks.

BTW, does anyone enjoy this? Hello, hello, anyone out there?
  • Current progress on upcoming amv 2004-01-25 20:23:19 planned some more
    ripped some vob files
    converted them to avis
    tried playing them
    saw multicolored snow T_T
    tried figuring out avisynth
    became frustrated
