  • Friday... all my troubles seemed so far away... 2001-10-07 08:14:47 Well, Saturday was hell, as expected. In true Michigan form, it was sunny to the point of blinding outside... step outside and you got another picture. But, the Band must march on. After we got moving, it was nice and toasty warm, but at the game, right before halftime, you saw many little red and black blobs huddling together, trying to stay warm.

    We had our first snowstorm.

    So, half-frozen, I wobbled home >oh, and in case anyone cares, the home team won... 40-nothing, at that. Bet that "fired" everybody up.<, drank a bit of Vernors and colapsed into my bed around 4 in the afternoon, not emerging until ...oh, around 8-ish the next morning. And yet I'm expected, being a nice Catholic boy, to show up at church from 10 o' clock till about noon to hear the Good Word and, afterwards, be taught by a young couple about what it is to be a good person. Yay! ^^

    In other news, it seems that there's a new Final Fantasy series trailer out. In case not many people read this, spread the word, if you care to. Looks like this series just might be more Final Fantasy-esque than the last series. Here's the link.

  • The noob strikes again... 2001-10-03 18:37:23 Well, my first day on AMV.org and I make an utter fool of myself by pressing "back" and figuring out that, "Hey! This isn't set up the way I thought it was and it already uploaded info on "Otaku on Fire"! Horray for me! God, THAT'S embarassing. Can't wait to check my mail tomorrow and see close to forty flames and verbal threats.

    No problem.

    Well, in about a month I'm probably gonna see what I have to do about gettin my sorry kiester on the 'web. As of now, it's all a dream, but that will change, it will. As of now, I'm checking out 49pence.com and their ~$14/month plan, but if you have better ideas, feel free to tell me. I'm anxious to get my page up >yeah, I've even designed it< and post muh Fire on High video. After careful study, I've found that there are three other songs done by ELO that are on AMV.org >though one was done by ELO Part 2... tsk tsk, they should know the difference<. I plan on checkin' em out sometime soon.

    Ah, but now I'm betting you're wondering just what it is that I do all day, aren't you? Well, let's just say that it's my last year in High School and I'm glad. Homecoming's this weekend. Who cares. The person I asked decided to "think about it" and then went with one of dem ol' Football peeps. The only redeeming characteristic of this person is the fact that he has just about every english DBZ VHS released, which, depending on your POV, isn't exactly something to brag about. Anyways, it's all good. I'm gonna head over to a friend's house for the weekend and have a Rocket Arena LAN party. Not as good as the dance, but oh well. I guess I get my jollies marching in the Band during half-time. Harper is the big, bad Trombone/Percussionist of the show. >raises the roof< whoop da whoo. ._.
