  • 1624 hits 2006-03-15 00:30:48 Fun weekend. For those who dont know, I lost my virginhood either this weekend or last weekend. My life has been so crazy, it all blends together lately. Wow.

    Anyway, after constant fights with the family, I went to a personal counseler at my school today, which was fortunately free. She said that I have totally different values from my mom, and my goals all revolve around partying. She also said that I needed to make a choice between the pipe & my cell phone, which I wont get into atm. Also that I need to make goals & achieve them. My goal is to do all the chores my mom asks, without having to be asked. I now have my ADD medication, so it seems within reach. I decided to make a goal of my own, which is to do more baking. Since getting laid, I've been overall in a better mood than the past year combined, which isnt to say that I havent had my ups & downs. Anyway, when Im in a good mood, I do a lot of cooking, usually for the people who surround me in my life. I made a strawberry cake today, from betty crocker, but a cake nonetheless. On Monday, since I missed the potluck our class had, I might bring a chocolate cake or something. You know, just for fun.

    The rest of this week, I want to learn to make English teatime pastries. The first will probably be a tart, then a torte, then to mix things up, raspberry babinka. Ya know, just to be a little crazy ;) LOL.

    I also made guacomole for the first time today. I keep getting avacados, and they keep spoiling, since I didnt know what to do with them. The guy in the supermarket pointed out that instead of just premade guuac, you can buy a mix & mash up avacados & make it yourself, which I did. It was great! I'm doing that again soon! I put a little of the guac on my lunch, which I also made, which was a turkey burger with bacon, bbq sauce & monterey jack cheese. It was very rich & very good. All in all, not a bad day :) 
  • 1628 hits 2006-03-11 13:37:26 Busy week. Rough week....Today is looking good. I had 2 deadlines to meet. The first, to watch all the videos nominated for the 2006 VCAs, appears to be within reach. I just want to congratulate all the people who were nominated, especially the ones who are in the semifinals. Last year's VCAs sucked, but this year the videos are all really good. My favorites include: ALL the comedy/fun videos, "Naruto's Technique Beat", "Always Hardcore" & "the Story of the Antichrist."

    I didnt get a chance to vote in every category, since it wouldnt be fair to vote not having seen every video, but I did make sure to watch every video in the categories where I really liked a certain video. Happy voting, everyone!

    The other goal I have is to return half of the CDs I bought @ Ameoba, by the end of today. Which means I need to haul ass & find the recipt. If I can get the $50 back, I might just be able to make it til the end of the month *crosses fingers* *hopes guy who offered me a job that I turned down will still take me when I called him back & begged for the job*. Dont cry for me, tho. The CDs sucked! I mean, I like happy hardcore, but some artists that do that kind of music should be washiing windows or somthing, na'meen?

    I also have one more thing to do. Monday, I have to have, complete & edited, 22 shots. I have about 16, unedited or slated. I have no wide angle or telephoto lens, and my digital camera wont let me change the focus. So I need to beg my friend to let me use his camera. Wish me luck!  
  • 1610 hits 2006-03-08 02:58:54 Havent been writing in this journal much lately, probably becuz I've been crazy busy & also I have a myspace blog, which no one reads. Alright, I applied for 22 jobs, and so far 3 have had interviews, 2 of which seem promising, 1 of which seems legit & promising. I am now completely mentally & physically exhausted. I keep thinking I'm forgetting something, about everything, as I do when I feel tired. More later. Also, I want to watch all the vids in the vca finals, and I have a 3d design project due tomorow that needs 3 days worth of work, and which I have zero time to finish. 
  • 1591 hits 2006-03-06 01:36:12 Fun day. Went to West Hollywood with my friend V. She is really fun, she invited me to this awesome party last night....I had lots of fun, and got a phone number. Then today, smoked a little grass (got caught! eee...stress), went record/dvd/tape/lp shopping, and got several of each. I've been wating to expand my music collection for a while now, but the cost is always so prohibitive, but I just said "fuck it!" I had a fun night. Better than playing Diablo 2 all night & going to bed @ 6am, thats for sure. The store was awesome, cuz they had artists I'd never seen in a store before, just online, but I couldnt find the Nico/Velvet Underground movie "Icon." If anyone knows how to get ahold of that, PLEASE let me know! All in all, this is the best weekend I've had in over a month

  • 1567 hits 2006-03-02 02:21:51 All seems quiet here...I havent spoken to Scott since the "incident", and I'm taking baby steps toward adulthood & independence. I'm hungry...

    On a distracting note, I started watching Green Green. From the description, I though it'd be really perverted, but it's got less fanservice/nudity than Hand Maid May. It really brings back memories of 9th grade, when I started a co-ed boarding school. Until then I had just gone to public school, but it was in a different state, which was a major adjustment for me. The school had this camp the 1st week, where everyone went to these cabins & we just played games for a week & swam & whatever. It was by far the best week there, since the rest of the year was like being in Hell. The show really has it down, tho, except maybe the girl with the cactus. I would probably be a cross between the unfriendly girl & the glasses girl, since I did wear glasses at that time (contacts are the shiz-nite).
