She's been nagging me to put together a jigsaw puzzle for her, to display, so I did that, as well as hooked up the printer, removed many staples form the wall. gave her paper, and put up cards for the kids to write their birthdatys. Thank god, her room has a/c. Oddly enough,m the school has a device to block all cell reception, cuz they dont want teachers on the phone. End transmission.

Busy week. Tiring week. For the record, I love heat, but 90+ degrees is a little hot even for me! I got 18 units @ csulb, all in the fea major. yay. I don't remember Monday; I probably did my last-minute shopping. I think that was the day I bought my books ($300!!!!), clothes ($200!!!) and other junk. I am now -$200 in the bank for the month of September, or probably more since I bought food & drinks on campus.
So Tues I got up, was ultra mega tired, & had a freak-out looking for my parking pass. It was on my desk, mixed in with other papers, as I discovered after an adventure involving a drive to home depot to check my mom's car, which she left there, having rented a truck. It's back-to-school for her, but she's a teacher, not a student.
So I got the permit, got to school, drove in & around the parking structure, and discovered the nearby neighborhood where I will actually be parking. Wanted: more parking structures ;X
Fortunately, my new luggage/book transport has wheels, which made it much, much more easy to transport the 3 blocks back to school. Trick to parking in a neighboorhood near a college is to drive until you no longer see the little green signs, becuz otherwise u get a ticket.
Got to class, albeit late. From that point on, it seemed like every guy on campus treated me like a princess. I guess losing 40 pounds can do wonders for your social life. In any case, I loved the attention. The haircut I got the day before probably didn't hurt, either. XD
So the teacher gave a super long speech about himself, we broke into groups to learn more about ourselves, I met a nice guy named Paul & a weird guy in a beret named Ron. No homework! I think I went home after that, yeah, next class wasnt for 7 hours. DOnt remember the rest of the day, I think I did work around the house or something.
Wednesday: I think I helped my mom move into her classroom for a couple hours, & she drove me to class just in time. It was my tv class. We got to watch an episode of family guy & part of an episode of our gang. I still cant tell if farina was a boy or a girl... We had a 15-minute break, and I hauled ass across the campus to find the bathroom & food court. They have a panda express, and I managed to eat my panda bowwl as I walked back to class. I had another class roght after that, with a super-hottttttt guy in it, he looked like a blond haired blu-eyed brad pitt. His name is lance & he lives in laguna beach. I'm from long beach-I wonder if we're too different. I wonder if he's single. Staring...drooling.... The teacher is super cool, most of my teachers are, & he reminds me of a cros between Frodo & Alice Cooper, both in looks & personality.
thurs- another audio class. I was late, but so was the teacher. yezs! We had a lecture from the media room guys, the fat old one was mean, the short asian one was quiet & kept staring at me discreetly. I had worn a mini-skirt that day, which always seems to get me extra attention. It's like the exact opposite of every other time in my life! So after that, I walked around wih Paul to the pyramid, where his next class was, then spent another 2 hours looking for the food court. The cafeteria-like building has 4 stories, which are not fun to navigate on stairs with a rolling cart. Found the round table, sat in chair in front of giant tv & ate it. Finally found the nugget, which has free re-fill soda, and sat down to relax & enjoy. Baout that time was my 310 class. Nearly fell asleep as teacher, same guy from audio, repeated his day-1 speech verbatim. He also re-did the intro yourselves bit, and halfway thru I said to the guy I paired with, sam, I had to pee. He did to, so we booked it to the bathrooms. I dont think the teacher noticed, but I did see him get a soda. This guy kicks ass! I dont remember much else, except everyone giving intros. We got out an hour early, I hauled ass back to my car, cuz I needed a quick shower. Got there, realized I had a street sweeping ticket (!). Least I didnt get a ticket for being 5 inches into the red....
Got home, rinsed off, sat down, convinved mom to drive me to my class. Turns out we're going to be making a 3-min, 2-cut movie for sony, to show off whatever their latest equpimnt is. best of all, there's no limit of fx, so I can go nuts with after effecs :) Plus, a guy even gave up his seat so I could sit & see the screen. It was the best ever!!!! The cool thing is, usually only grad students get to touch a camera, so I'm psyched. We got out earlt, I waited in the dark for my mom, thinking about my movie, which I have planned in my head, & crashed out.
Friday-finished last chapter of harry potter. Tired. Washed hair. Had Paul over for 4 hours. He leaned over to kiss me, but I went to the bathroom. So not interestd in him!! At least, to date. He's really cool, tho. And he seems to have no trouble with the ladies....
Today-made pancakes. Wnet with mom to teachers supply store, returned bathmat to store. Felt sick, so I came home to lie down. Wonder if I really do have celiac disease....
Still tired, but feeling a bit better. I'm so glad I only have classes 3 days a week!!! -

Weird day. Got up at 7:30 to feed Noriko the kitten, stepped in cat vomit. Wiped off my foot, went back to sleep. When I got up again at 9am for my eye doc appt, I felt like I had been hit in the face with a sledgehammer. The eye doc said my eyes were being bothered by my allergies. I managed to get my contacts in, and some coffee, and have since spent the next hours online. I feel all tired & icky.
So I FINALLY managed to log onto myspace. It's been a few weeks, I'd guess. The party I was invited to is today, so it's lucky I got on, or I would've missed it. What gift do you bring a 1-year-old for his birthday to put in a time capsule that will be opened when he turns 18? I'm think a newspaper clipping of his horoscope, & maybe a wire sulpture I made of a doll. That might be cool. Usually I give alcohol, but somehow that doesn't seem appropriate.
Now, to check my pms. And the rest of my myspace messages. Mexicanjunior, I haven't been ignoring you, just been having login truobles. -

ok, word of warning: hughes net is not a good isp so far. Their service sucks, is slow, tech support also sucks, as they were having technical issues in India. They promise to have someone come out & fix it. I have my doubts...
On that note, haven't been able to browse much, and I'm been having major issues on all sites that have passwords, like, surprise, this site. Pout.
SO lately I've been moping & doing housework. By housework, I mean the kind that invloves paint, putty & power tools. I have almost all the moulding in my hallway painted, and I just need more paint, since I ran out.
My mom found a new job (!), so we can afford things like paint again. Also, csulb is giving my a little financial aid, so I'm going to splurge & do something I haven't done in about 6 months: get a hair cut. No, not just any hair cut, I'm getting extensions, so I can regain the happiness that comes with purple hair, without my hair falling out quite so much. I can't wait for that. Maybe I'll use the rest to buy a desk, since I need one. Or materials to make my own desk. f

Sabrina -out-. - 2414 hits 2006-07-19 17:55:59 Wow. I never write in this thing anymore. Guess becuz I havent had anything too uplifting to write about. Lessee, lost thousands of dollars to crooked contractors, slept in living room for a month, painted my room purple, my kitten Noriko got REALLY sick, & I went to the oc fair. Also, I'm working on finishing the vid I've been working on all during the time I didn't have internet, and about 1/4 thru one made entirely using after effects. It's a trip, if I ever finish it.
