Long month. Today is Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day to everybody, especially my special loved ones.
Lessee. I dropped my organic chem class, cuz I didn't meet the pre-reqs. I actually feel better, cuz getting up at 7am to go to a class you have no hope of understanding is no fun. Basically, all this week I've been getting my exercise by running all around the campus talking to this person or that person. School is a larger part of my life right now than it's been in a while. I don't like it XD !
My motto lately has become: Dont Panic.
That's right, from Hitchikers guide to the galaxy. It works somewhat effectively. I also use Rock Band to work off stress. I love that game. I can't stop playing it. Even with great effort. Food becomes secondary. School becomes secondary. My relationships with other humans have become ranked according to how much time they are willing to spend playing Rock Band. I was able to beat the WOW & Portal addictions, but I may have met my match.
A couple days ago, my bf & I took the game on tour to Dave's house. That's Chewy Dave, not Diggity Dave. Dave refused to come to Eric's place cuz his younger brother Danny had homework & a bedtime for school. I proably should have gone to sleep when Danny did, cuz the next day I was late for my 1st physics tutoring session. Must. not . write. about. physics. I don't even want to think about physics right now, cuz not only is the class confusing, the assignments can only be obtained by buying a web subscription website, and the notes are in powerpoint, which I dont have. *crys*
Okay, oookay. So later that nite, it was foggy, so Eric & I took Timmy ona special adventure. As Eric said "They took me to the end of the universe, and I was made to look upon it. There's something bigger than our owners. We should eat them." It was an awesome nite.
On a side note, I've been staying over at his place for a couple weeks now. I think my presence is beginning to place a strain on his mom. I feel bad about it, but I dont want to stay at my house rite now, cuz of problems with my mom's bf. He's an unstable, angry person. nuff said.
All that aside, it's been awesome being with Eric. I must say, however, that I will never go clothes shopping for him again, with him being present. I really want him to watch Titanic with me. Or the Devil Wears Prada. Or Jerry MacGuire. He has a vcr now, so perhaps I can borrow Titanic from Chewy's mom.....*evil grin* It's not that I want to torture him, it's that I love romantic movies & want to share that with the person I love most.
Awwwww, Stinky the kitty is drinking from his new noisy cat drinking fountain. Hopefully now the cats will stop drinking from the aquarium.
Okay, back to work. Or maybe looking at cute pictues of baby animals. -

This is a story I wrote for a writing class last semester.
Vamp-entine
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful young girl. she had her own apartment with rooms and a window. One night, she was about to go to bed when something happened.
Girl: Who are you?
Brunette man: I am a vampire, a lord of the night. I have come this night to make you into one of my servants. Tis time now that I partake of your blood.
Girl: Noooooo! I will knock over a jar of marbles, because I know that vampires are unable to resist their obsessive tendencies toward order.
Vampire: How could you! A perfectly good jar of marbles has gone to waste on the floor. I must return the marbles to their rightful jar! *stoops down and begins to pick up marbles*
Girl (thinking to herself): If I stay hidden behind this doorway, I can remain safe from the evil vampire. Shame he is a vessel of evil, tho, cuz he's so darn cute.
***Time passes***
*yawns* It's getting pretty late. I had better come up with a plan, for I surely can not outrun this menace. Perhaps I can reason with him.
(out loud) How are you this fine evening, vampire?
Vampire: How dare you ask me this question? I was perfectly prepared for a delicious meal consisting of your blood, and instead you give me this undignified grief!
Girl: What would you have me do? If I had not done this, you would have forced me into becoming your servant! How can you expect me to accept this terrible fate?
Vampire: *laughs menacingly* Oh foolish child, I have lived for a thousand years, and taken the blood of a thousand maidens such as yourself. Soon, your will shall become mine.
Girl: That can't be! Monster! You were human once, please show me that you possess compassion by allowing me to survive unchanged. I'll totally let you look at my boobs! *rips shirt open*
Vampire: *laughs* You certainly have spunk! The hour has become early, and I must return home, lest the sunlight destroy me. You are welcome to enter my apartment tomorrow night, for I wish to speak further with you. The address is...
(thinking to himself) That necklace she wears, it is surely the stone of Elvenblood. If I were to possess it, my supernatural power would be multiplied exponentially.
Girl: Thank you for sparing me. In order to show my gratitude, I will visit you tomorrow night.
****The next night, at the vampire's apartment*****
Driving to the vampire's dwelling, the girl was surprised by a fire engine parked in an alley, possessing the appearance of a murderer waiting in the shadows for her. Ignoring her sense of foreboding, she drove on, arriving shortly at her destination.
She pulled the red rope which caused a deep bell to toll throughout the flat.
Vampire: Come in, come in. How does your blood flow this night?
Girl: What an unusual question. I feel.....fine.
Vampire: Good, good. Please, sit down. May I offer you a glass of mysterious red liquid?
Girl: I....am not thirsty.
Vampire: There is an urgent matter I must discuss with you. *swoops down onto the couch next to her* Now child, where did you get that stone on your chest?
Girl: How did you know of my stone?
Vampire: Uhhhh......-
2nd Vampire: Hullo, luv. Now darling, who is this fine creature?
Darling: This,, Honey bear, is a human girl. She has journeyed here this night to discuss an important matter with me.
The 2nd vampire, Honey bear, was taller and thinner than his lover, with long white hair. He had a more open face and a lower-class English accent.
Honey Bear: Now darling, haven't you offered our guest something to drink yet?
Darling: uhhhhhh-
Honey Bear lankily walked over to the couch, on the other side of the girl. He reached across her to playfully punch his lover in the mouth.
Honey Bear: That's no way to entertain a guest, luv. Go get the crumpets and tea.
Darling: *sigh* Ok.
As Darling walked from the room, the girl sighed, too, and stared longingly at his hindquarters. Honey Bear, not noticing this, noticed how strawberry her hair really was, and how her freckles dotted her face just so.
Honey Bear: Give us a kiss then.
Girl: wait, wha-
Suddenly, she found herself tangled in the magnetic clutches of the blond vampire. Unable to get away, suddenly unable to care, she fell pray to his hungry tongue lashings.
Darling returned from the kitchen with a bowl of what we can only assume was punch. It's impossible to tell that now, because, upon seeing his lover's infidelity, Darling dropped the punchbowl, which shattered. The red liquid inside steamed into the air briefly, then disappeared. Both the girl and Honey Bear turned slowly and stared at the sound of shattering glass.
Honey Bear: Now luv, it was only a snog, see...
Staring with unseeing eyes, Darling said nothing in response, but slowly reached inside his coat pocket for his secret vice, his emergency exit. With one bloody tear drop as his last goodbye, he drove the stake deep into his heart and vanished from this world forever.

omg the internet is slow! I'm trying to review amvs I've had on my hard drive since the last vcas, but the op pages are super slow. No matter. I need a break from reading up on safety materals for the csulb lab. I may be removing bird retinas for research this sesmester. It's sad that the birds are dead, but cool that I'll be helping expand humanity's body of knowledge.
And now I prepare to eat the last 2 bao. Preparing anything more complicated would mean I would have to dig deeper into the dreaded kitchen. Some people are afraid to eat anything that's been prepared in my kitchen. Even tho it may not be "clean," that doesn't mean it doesn't function as a kitchen. Provided I can find a working surface under the mail. Yummy bao... -

ZOMG, I can finally access the internet from my own computer! How many months has it been now???? YES!!!!
What a week it's been! And it's only Tuesday...Yesterday, I went to organic chem. I need to email the prof about that *opens new tab*
Then I drove down PCH, just to relax & see the ocean. It was a beautiful day! I ended up at the dog beach, and walked around there for a while. I talked to this lady who had a maltipoo, and got the # for the breeder where she got it from. $400! At the pet store, same dog was $1800! I REALLY want a dog. So after that, I went to the mall & applied for a bunch of jobs. Later t hat day, I got a call back for an interview tomorrow! At Ben & Jerry's. So my bf is making fun of me that it would be dangerous for me to work there. I DO love ice cream. A lot. I heard they get like a free pint of ice cream a day. I want that job!
Then I went over to my bf's house to retrieve my cell phone & walked his dog Timmy. It was awesome. Then his cousin Keelee came over we made eggplant. It was tasty. Then I ran to class & saw Into the Wild. The main character is basically the exact opposite of me.
Recap:
This weekend, I went shopping at costco with my mom. Not very exciting, but it's been a long time since we did anything togther, so it was a bigger deal than it would have been otherwise. (I'm trying to practive typing without looking at the keyboard. I'm not very fast, but trying to take notes is hard without using the home keys cuz the teacher goes so fast!) Anyway, we got fruit and groceries & a deep fryer. I can't wait to make fried chicken!!!! Then on Sunday, I watched the Super Bowl with my boyfriend & his friend Dave from work. Dave has a sweet setup in a side house, and we watched the game in the main house, then played rock band in Dave's area. The 3rd quarter (the one we entered the game on) was kinda boring. Then I learned there was a major Giants fan in the house. Yes, he was very happy by the time the night was over. I have to say, better than last year's. Srsly, 1 upset after another. It was awesome. Good commercials. too.

A couple nites ago, while trying to fall asleep, I ended up watching both the 5th urusei yatsura movie (still can't be sure what that title would translate to in English), and otaku no video. Guess which I liked best.
If you said otaku no video, you're wrong. Takahashi is so super awesome, I love her stuff rite now. Probably I'm on a "Takahashi kick," as Eric calls it, because we just finished Maison Ikkoku & the movie, and it was the greatest thing ever. Watch it. Now. I'm so tempted to make a video of it, but don't have the time to do it justice.
That said, Otaku no video had some perks of its own. In particular, a bunny girl. Yay!! Now, I know I've seen her somewhere before, but I think she's only in that show. Which made me wonder, could I have seen an amv with this show, and that's why it looks so familiar? Even with my amvs being in complete dissarray over about 1,000 cds, I'm willing to sort thru them (and maybe finally convert -everything-to dvd). I really need to go from about 10,000 cdrs to a more reasonable number of dvds. Anyway I want to re-watch:

Also, I re-watched "Spleen in the sky" the other day. Weird & rough as it is, it's probably the greatest video ever made. Really. It gives me hope for the future of amvs, both my own and other people's.
